The staff service is excellent, but the only downside is that the room is too small and the soundproofing is poor. You can practically accompany your neighbors and listen to the news and sports games all night.

I always book this hostel.  The sheet smell sweat from People.  Sharing bathroom is really not good.  My first time sharing.  People start to knock the door when I was showering. Uff very annoying.

Extremely small and basic place in the center of new york. you get what you pay for

It is a pretty simple room with shared bathroom. It was fine for 1 night, but at $400 For a Saturday night it might be better to pay an extra 100 dollars and stay in a proper hotel. The $22 you pay extra when you check in is ‘ for late check out or luggage storage, so if you don’t use that, it’s a waste of money.

Top notch hotel, great design of the lobby, amazing location, just mid city. Everything was perfect!

I got the bunk bed room and it was nice. The sheets weren’t cleaned because I found random hair in the blankets. Only good to stay for one or two nights that’s it.

This is not a very good option. Everything looks old, rooms really tiny, mattress issues, rude staff...

They charge a $50 facility fee at check-in which is supposed to be refunded, I am still it waiting for a refund weeks later, although I wrote an email to which they have not replied…

Great experience

The room was not cramped and there was enough floor space to spread out carry-on luggage, and there was also a drawer under the bed for storage, so it seemed like it would be comfortable for a long stay. There was also a wall-mounted TV that could be seen from the bed. In addition to there being four shower and toilet rooms, you could see the lamp in use from your room, so you could use it whenever you wanted and didn't feel like you had to share it. There was a DAISO within walking distance, so it seemed like a good place to buy anything you forgot to bring. There was also a famous bagel shop nearby that has long lines. It was a cheap single room for New York, and was very good value for money for a solo traveler. I would like to use it again when traveling solo to New York.

There is an additional charge of $91 when you arrive at the accommodation. If you think about it, the accommodation is about 350,000 won per night, so it is not cheap at all. However, since you can walk to Times Square and don't have to go down to downtown, the location is good. There are many subway lines within a 5-minute walk. Many people go to Essa Bagel, which is close to the hotel, so you can go there (unfriendly). There are also several CVSs within a block or two. There are quite a few Japanese and Southeast Asian restaurants within a block or two. The location is not bad for staying. The room is small. If you open a 25-inch suitcase, you have to move it over. The Wi-Fi is so-so, but you can watch YouTube. There are many TV channels, but there is nothing to watch on American TV. Since the room is small, there is nothing to do except for making the bedding and changing the towels. It starts quite early in the morning, so if you sleep in late, you can put on a do not disturb mode. The bathroom/toilet is a problem. I stayed on the 10th floor and there are 4 in total. People used bathrooms 3 and 4 a lot. There is a lamp in my room to tell which bathroom is occupied. Personally, I used bathroom 3 and bathroom 4. Bathrooms 1 and 2 are narrow and very uncomfortable. Since the shower is on the ceiling, it is difficult to wash your buttocks. You have to do acrobatics in bathroom 4 to wash your buttocks. The facility itself is the largest in bathroom 3, but it is difficult to wash your buttocks. I recommend you visit all the bathrooms on each floor. There is a terrace on the rooftop, but I haven't seen any users there. The hotel staff are very nice. I almost lost my phone, but they found it for me. The East Coast is so expensive that it is best to find a place near Manhattan in advance, and this place is the second best. The cost-effectiveness is not good. If you can't find the hotel you want, we will give priority to revisiting.
