Checked in around 10pm.
I had read the reviews and thought it might be a little old, but it was older and dirtier than I imagined, and had a scary atmosphere.
I asked for a room close to the elevator, but I was given the room at the very back. (Is this discrimination against Asians because I don't speak English?) (The person who helped me was a man with long black hair and glasses.)
The carpet on the floor was also very dirty. I happened to have brought slippers with me, so I managed to get through.
There was no refrigerator, and no complimentary mineral water.
Anyway, the atmosphere in the room was scary, so I slept with the lights on.
The day after I stayed, I felt some bumps behind my ears.
I have sensitive skin, so I thought it was just a bump from the fatigue of traveling, but two days later, I had this terrible rash.
It's probably bedbugs, right?
This turned my fun trip to New York into a bad memory. Even now that I've returned home, it's still bothering me.
I really don't recommend this hotel.
It seems that it takes about two weeks for this skin to heal. It's painful. If you don't want to have such a painful experience, spend another 30,000 yen and book a new hotel without bedbugs. It's ridiculous that a hotel that's been around for 60 years would not be renovated, and please stop discriminating against Asians ^ ^
I never want to stay there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A bedbug hotel.
