I was taken to an uncleaned room. There were solicitations for poor quality tours and overpriced meals.
The location with a view of the pyramids and some friendliness of the innkeeper were nice.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk to Pyramids entrance. It has a great view of Pyramids from hotel room and even better view from its rooftop. In the neighborhood of Pyramids, if you go into side streets from major street, it is dirt road with horses and camels walking and lots of kids playing on streets. It is not wealthy neighborhood but you can get feel of real Egypt. There are many small size hotels in the area. You may feel little unsecured at first but it is really safe. I stayed in the neighborhood for 3 days. I felt completely safe walking in the neighborhood at night. People are friendly and lively in the neighborhood and I felt completely safe. I am glad I stayed there because I got the feeling of Egypt and got away of chaotic Cairo town. The hotel is ran by an Egyptian family and the owner is a kind man who can arrange your sightseeing for reasonable prices. The cost of hotel is very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Rooms are well kept. The owner is there all the time if you need anything. Highly recommended!

An authentic experience with Sameh and his family making this down to earth hotel something different, next to a wonder of the world, next to community, next to the other worldliness of Cairo city. It’s an escape from London grind…a good escape! Refreshing, energising and humbling. The roof terrace, the roosters wake up call, the sunrise and sunset, the guava tree, the jasmine…not going to say anything else. Discover for yourself!

We stayed at the Energy of pryramit hotel for about a week. Sameh is a legendary man. He is very funny, helpful, friendly and helpful in everything. We didn't have any problems. We felt like we were guests of our friend, not in a hotel. Everything was very nice. On the day our tour started early, he prepared fruit salad for us in the morning even though it was not compulsory. Thank you so much for everything. Before I forget, his daughter Sheela is very sweet and friendly. We sang Turkish and Arabic songs and had fun together. It was a week to remember. Thank you very much for everything.

Great hotel and has a nice view of the pyramids. Once you get to Cairo put the address into Uber or tell your prearranged pickup the name of the hotel. They will drop you off and the owner will meet you at the door the welcome you. He stayed up late for us when we arrived and was up very early the next day to prepare breakfast. Definitely ask him to help with booking rides/trips/tours as he is well connected

Cet hôtel est situé un peu à l'écart du centre-ville de Gizeh mais il est face aux pyramides (un plus indéniable) et à l'abri du bruit le soir dans Gizeh. La vue des pyramides depuis la chambre, c'est quand même sympa. Ce n'est pas le grand luxe mais c'est propre et largement suffisant et le rapport qualité/prix est très bon. Le patron est sympathique et aux petits soins. Le quartier n'est pas fabuleux (c'est simple, pas touristique), mais il n'y a aucun problème de sécurité. Je recommande sans hésiter.
