Colori e Note

We’ve just returned from are stay at Colori E Note. Gianni was the perfect host he gave recommendations on places to eat and things to see, the room was spotless and smelt lovely the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The breakfast cakes was lovely fresh and plentiful. We were about a 5/10min walk from the metro in Materdei although Naples is a totally walkable city so if you don’t have any mobility issues I would advise to walk if you can as you see so much more. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and we will definitely be back to visit again one day soon I hope Fino alla prossima volta Leah & Paolo

We had an amazing stay at Colori e Note B&B! The place was absolutely spotless — everything was incredibly clean and well cared for. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from the metro, which made getting around the city super easy. Gianni, the owner, was the perfect host. He was so attentive and welcoming, always ready with great suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try — and every single recommendation was spot on! A special mention also goes to Daniela’s cakes, which were simply magnificent — the perfect start to each morning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived late at night at the Colori e Note, Gianna immediately made us feel welcome. Gianna's warm personality and attention to detail, made our 5 day stay feel less like a hotel visit and more like coming home. The B & B is modern and stylish, with comfortable music-themed rooms which are immaculately cleaned every day. Breakfast was Italian style pastries, cakes, yoghurts, juices, and freshly brewed Italian coffee. Big shout for the homemade cakes and special mention to Lina's pumpkin cake made for the Halloween celebrations. Every morning Gianna and Lina provided invaluable knowledge about Naples for the day ahead and sociable chats providing insights into the Napoli way of life. The B&B is in a quiet, residential location, yet just a short walk (or quick hop on the Materdei metro) to all the buzz and vibrant heart of Napoli. We stayed in the Blues Brothers themed room with a garden view and loved the musical touches that ran throughout the B&B. Gianna shared his local insights you won't find in the guide books and helped us plan trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum with ease. He also recommended local places to eat, like pizza at the Starita which is a short walk from the B & B, recommendations on what to see, and how to get around and it made all the difference to our stay. He was always seemed to be available on WhatsApp and showed a great passion and enthusiasm for his work and Napoli. Colori e Note truly lives up to its name, full of color, charm, and will live long in our memories. Much appreciation and big thanks to Gianna and Lina for making our stay most enjoyable, and we can’t wait to come back, and next time maybe we will book The Beatles room.

My husband and I recently enjoyed 7 days at Gianni's Colori E Note. He was the perfect host - contacting us before we arrived and waiting for us with a warm welcome when we did Our room was spotlessly clean and the music themed decor tasteful. Gianni gave us recommendations of where to eat - Starita and Taverna Luciana within walking distance were excellent - .He gave us a map of the city ( the metro station Materdei only 100 metres walk from the B and B) and he recommended the sights to see.. The Italian continental breakfasts including cakes freshly baked by Lina were delicious -:as was Gianni's coffee - they were always there to chat about our day and we exchanged news about ourselves and our lives. I celebrated a ' very big birthday ' while we were there. Gianni looked after us and gave us the confidence to enjoy Naples and our holiday..He helped us book excursions - we visited Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast - and advised on the travel arrangements checking up on us throughout the day to make sure these 2 oldies were ok.. We had a memorable week - and I was given a birthday present from Gianni and Lina before I left to make it even more special. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Colori E Note as an ideal place to stay when visiting Naples. We're looking to returning one day.
