Delco Naples

We booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apartments actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.

We had a great experience at Delco Naples! We arrived around 1, right after our flight landed, and we were greeted by such a positive man. He didn’t speak English, and when he realized our Italian wasn’t the best, he translated right away (which we were going to do for us! But he beat us to it!!!) the room was so clean and had everything from coffee to soda to slippers! There are only 6 units, and we were at the front of the space. It was quiet, and we slept so well! The location is amazing too. Right above a bookstore, and a very quick walk to via toledo & all of the shoot off streets & restaurants from there. When we return to Naples, delco will be the first place we look to stay!! Thank you for an amazing stay!

I will admit, being from the Philadelphia suburbs, Delco Naples caught my eye because I live next to Delaware County Pennsylvania (Delco) and thought it was amusing. That being said, we were looking for a place in the Chiaia neighborhood. We wanted a suite with a fridge, a kitchenette, and air conditioning. Delco fit the bill. Massimo, the host, was very helpful even before we arrived, He arranged our pick up from the Naples airport. The place is a little tricky to find (it’s down a side street, then through a parking lot, up to the 3rd floor). Once here, we loved our room. Exactly what we wanted. The gentleman that cleans the rooms did a great job keeping the place tidy. It’s conveniently located, and Massimo was available via WhatsApp throughout our visit. We even had them do our laundry (€6 per bag), which arrived in less than a day perfectly clean and folded. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I make it back to Naples. Bravo, Massimo, bravo!

A wonderful stay in Chiaia area We are absolutely delighted with our stay here! We were upgraded to a comfort room and it was really very comfortable! Good working air conditioner during an intense heat wave, comfortable bed, new and spacious bathroom with chromatic light effects, excellent working wifi, and facilities for basic cooking and washing up. The room was quiet even though we are right in the city. The location was central to everything you would want (sea, shopping, food) and the building was secure and equipped with a lift. The owner was very accommodating as I needed to adjust my check-in time for a work meeting, and I honestly am so happy! I would definitely stay here again.

Solo trip. Clean, safe and in convenient location. Clean. Updated. Everything you’d need and even some extras. Tea, coffee, a hot pot and frig with drinks to purchase. Delicious candy at front desk in a great location.
