The hair dryer in the comfortable king-size bed room has a small air volume, and the shower connection leaks. When lying on the bed, the light of the blue button of the mirror is dazzling and cannot be turned off. I contacted the front desk and changed to a standard king-size bed room. The standard room has a larger space, the hair dryer is normal, the shower is intact, and the mirror does not face the bed. Friends who have ordered should pay attention when checking in! It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from Nanning East Station, about 12 minutes to walk from Langxi Night Market, and about 5 minutes to walk from the subway station. In general, the location is good and it is convenient to travel.

A disappointing stay at the Yishang Hotel. This stay at the Yishang Hotel was abysmal, completely shattering my trust in the Dongcheng Group brand. First, the hotel's cleanliness was appalling. Upon check-in, I discovered unidentified stains on the sheets, hair accumulated in the bathroom floor drain, and water stains on the edge of the mouthwash cup—clearly a perfunctory cleaning service. For a chain hotel, even basic hygiene is unacceptable. Secondly, the soundproofing was practically nonexistent. Late at night, I could clearly hear the clamor of guests in the hallway, the sound of the TV in the neighboring room, and even the clatter of the hallway cleaning truck, making it impossible to sleep. The hotel is located on a busy pedestrian street, yet it lacks any effective soundproofing, causing significant inconvenience to guests who needed to rest. The service was also extremely indifferent. The front desk staff were expressionless during check-in and perfunctory when I raised any issues, simply saying, "We'll report it to higher authorities." At 2 a.m., the neighboring room was making incessant noise. I called the front desk to intervene, but after waiting for half an hour, no one responded. I ultimately had to knock on the door myself. The amenities were equally problematic: the air conditioning was incredibly noisy and ineffective, the shower water ran hot and cold, and the WiFi signal was intermittent. Worst of all, the elevator malfunctioned repeatedly, becoming stuck in the middle of a floor for five minutes. I chose Dongcheng because of its reputation, but this experience completely overturned my perception. The price-to-quality ratio was severely mismatched, and no remedy has been implemented. I strongly advise travelers to exercise caution when choosing this hotel, and I hope management will address these issues and prevent further damage to the brand's reputation.
