The hotel has a very relaxed feel and is an ideal stopover for travellers arriving in Nairobi from JKIA before continuing their trip via Wilson airstrip. I walked to Wilson from the hotel!
This was my second stay and the staff are all super nice. Specisl mention to Richard the Arsenal fan on reception

The check process was seamless at the reception. Once I got to the room my room was spotless with well spread beds, clean washroom. At the restaurant the meals I took were amazing, I got an opportunity to meet the chef who was very friendly.. The culture at the hotel was very professional with very friendly staff I would definitely recommend for any solo traveller.

The food is awesome and the staff are very friendly and professional. Their meat platter has a good selection of meat and we were able to visit a few attractions in the area like the Nairobi national park. I highly recommend Tamarind Tree Hotel for my friends and family

This hotel is a very good hotel, I recommend it to everyone who’s going to Kenia since it’s got the best quality possible in rooms and common areas. I specially enjoy the drinks bar which is hosted by the bartender Kennedy who was very welcoming and nice. Another fact that I loved about the hotel is that the gift shop sells only high quality made local products which made my experience even better.

I absolutely loved everything about this place from the delicious food to the warm and exceptional service by the lovely Lucy. The ambiance was simply beautiful, creating the perfect dining experience. What stood out the most was how they celebrate birthdays with so much love, energy, and excitement, making every guest feel truly special. The entire experience was unforgettable, and I would definitely come back again!

I’ve never been one to enjoy massages - in fact, I’ve actively avoided them most of my life, convinced that my skin was just “too sensitive” to tolerate the pressure. That all changed today when I met Jane. From the moment I walked into the room, Jane created a calm, welcoming environment that made me feel safe. She took the time to listen to my concerns and gently talked me through everything I was experiencing during the session. What I had always assumed was just sensitivity turned out to be an underlying issue I’d been addressing but never really connected and assumed it was just "sensitivity". Jane not only helped me make the link and identify the issue but offered thoughtful suggestions for alternative exercises and at-home remedies I could try to support my healing journey. Her patience, empathy, and skill were unlike anything I’ve encountered in a wellness professional in my entire life. I left that session in tears (I kid you not....and wasn't even embarrassed :-)) - tears of gratitude, relief, and awe at how much better I felt immediately after the session. It was genuinely the best massage of my life, and more than that, a turning point in how I can care for myself going forward. Jane now has a customer for life. If you’ve ever doubted whether massage therapy could help you - go see her. She is an absolute gift!!

The rooms were clean and neat.bed is comfortable. Breakfast options diverse and really good. The swimming pool is heated and really nice. The staff are polite and ready to assist.The hotel location is great and quiet from the city.The gym is well equipped .I recommend Bakhita ,Leon and Richard from the Reception
