We had the bad luck of having rain almost all our vacation. We chose this hotel to spend our last days of an idyllic honeymoon; all our joy went down the drain.
They didn't offer any recreational activities (they had a pool table and some board games) to alleviate 5 days of downpour (this is the first vacation where we've had time to get bored)... eating and drinking is all the hotel offered on rainy days.
We took all-inclusive (because of the 4 restaurants that the hotel had with different types of food... in one you had to pay and the other was closed due to bad weather).
The cleaning... While you were having dinner, a cockroach appeared like I've never seen before; Obviously we left…
Some of them also appeared in the room…
We sent them 2 emails with two questions, one if it was possible to pick us up at the airport (no response) and the other if it was possible to do some activity (since it was our honeymoon) despite the bad weather (also no response).
If the weather had been good… we would have been able to leave the hotel, rent a jet ski; but with bad weather they don't offer anything more than a talk, board games, making crafts with leaves, live music until 7:00 p.m.
No show or performance to liven up… or anything.
In my opinion (I have my own hospitality business) it is very different from a hotel of this category…
The vast majority of the floor of the hotel complex is very slippery (so much so that we went barefoot everywhere) we always joke about needing crampons….
If I had to recommend it, I would do it if you have children, but to spend a few days relaxing with your partner absolutely NOT in bad weather… but of course… Fiji is Fiji… In the morning it is very sunny and at 12 it doesn’t stop raining…
To conclude, it is not accessible to the city centre (you do need a vehicle to get around) when we were there there were some huge floods… It was not worth leaving the hotel…
