Onsen is wonderful too, there were not crowded, so my friend with tattoes was able to go as well. Friendly place, would recommend to stay here to relax. The time here is going much slower than in the city. Also check the akame 48 waterfall trail. Thats definitely a must-see experience"

Set in a tiny village in the middle of a mountainous & forested area alongside a beautiful river with tons of waterfalls, very picturesque and perfect for walking around. The hotel itself is immaculate with great amenities including large bathing areas. Food was incredible and service was top-notch with staff that were always friendly, helpful and eager to please. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an authentic Japanese-style onsen hotel in a tranquil setting."
