2シーズン連続で利用させていただきました。 ケイトさんとリッキーさんはとてもフレンドリーで、おもてなしの心を感じます。 昨シーズンは子どもがスノーボードでのアクシデントにより妙高市内の病院に一泊入院することになってしまいましたが、身内が宿に到着するまでリッキーさんがもう一人の子どもの相手をしてくれました。 お部屋も施設内もとても清潔に保たれており、広くて快適に過ごすことができます。 温泉も広く、洗い場も複数有るので気持ちよく入れます。 部屋にはカトラリーや調理道具が揃っており、飲食店が少ないこのエリアでは自炊できるのは大変魅力的です。 プレゼントのお菓子も嬉しい気遣いです。 洗濯機と乾燥器は2台ずつあり、いつでも使えます。 乾燥室は地下にあり、エントランスからダイレクトでアクセスできます。十分な広さがあるので使い勝手が良いです。 朝食はシェアすることもできるので、相談されたら良いと思います。メニューの種類も多く、コーヒーやティーもおいしいですよ。 立地は大変良く、ゲレンデも歩いてすぐの距離です。 このエリアでは間違いなく最高峰の宿です。 ケイトさんもリッキーさんも地元の方に愛されている感じで、駐車場の方も良く知っていました。 コロナ禍でお客さんが少ない時期に利用させていただきましたが、早く終息して海外からのお客さんも増えることを願います。 赤倉を訪れる際にはまた利用させていただきます。

In a great position next to ski school and a short walk to the lifts. Note bottom lift does not work so you need to go to Yodel lift up front lift ticket office. All the restaurants and bars are on the same street and a short stroll. John runs a shuttle service to nearby resorts and train station which is very fantastic . Rooms are generous and our bathroom had a huge bath . Kitchen is great if you want to do your own breakfast. Highly recommend

初めての訪問でしたが素晴らしいホスピタリティにとても感動の連続でした。まずは館内が常にとても清潔なこと。お部屋は勿論のこと、大浴場も共用のお手洗いもこまめに清掃されているのが分かります。外人さん向けのお宿とオーナーさんもオーストラリアの方ということで和と洋が絶妙なミックスでセンスの良いインテリアです。大変お洒落でした。また、朝食込みのプランでしたので２回朝食をいただきましたが、これがまた大変美味しい！！！種類が豊富で選ぶのに迷いますが、私は一日目にベーコンエッグマフィン、二日目に豆腐スクランブルにしましたがこちらはちょっと真似をしたくなるような美味しさです。余談ですが、ハッピーアワーにあったパンプキンスープも絶品でした。オーナーさんご夫妻とてもフレンドリーで、私は英語があまり得意ではないのですがお話出来て楽しかったです。今回ゲレンデの雪質は降雪があった為大変ベストな状態でしたがそちらの楽しみだけでなく、宿泊先でもこんなに楽しめるとは思っていませんでした。オーナーご夫妻に大変感謝致します。また赤倉に行く際は利用をしたいと思います。

I had an amazing stay at Matsuya for my first snowboarding trip to Myoko! The accommodation was spotless, and its location was super convenient. Matsuya is a newly renovated building and a sister property of The Address, so we were able to use The Address’s facilities—including the onsen, which was incredibly clean and comfortable. John, the owner, was exceptionally kind and accommodating. He arranged a pick-up from Myoko-Kogen Station and was flexible with the timing, even when our arrival was delayed until late at night. Throughout our stay, he also provided shuttle services to various spots around Myoko, making everything so much more convenient. The hospitality at Matsuya was top-notch, and I highly recommend checking out the bar at The Address—it’s a must-try! Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at The Address. After an initial mix-up with the booking via Bookingdotcom (The Address has a brand-new sister hotel called Matsuya) we got the brilliant Tatami family room with its own onsen. The most spacious and most comfortable room we have stayed in in Japan. The Address is right in the middle of Akakura Onsen main street directly opposite the convenience store so it's a 5 minute walk to the nearest chairlift and all the rental shops, bars and restaurants. John is a fantastic and generous host who can't do enough for his guests, there's always a warm welcome at the bar, but be wary of the sake if you're skiing the next day. Thanks John, we'll definitely be back.

This is our second trip back to the Address. John, the owner, is very friendly and hospitable. The location of the hotel around Akakura Onsen is perfectly convenient and the rooms are spacious so we can relax and cook after long days skiing/snowboarding. We highly recommend the Address.

We had a great stay at the Address. John was a great host as the proprietor. The hotel is centrally located - next door to ski rentals and just a couple hundred meters from lifts. Restaurants are all around and easy to access. The ski room and onsen are well accommodated. Highly recommend!
