"We arrived at the hotel at 2:45pm. Since hotel is right off the noisy street, we asked for a room on the 4th floor and in a quiet location. Lady at the check in said she can accommodate either 4th floor or quiet side, but not both. She had an attitude in our opinion. She said the room on the 4th floor / quiet side is not ready and that it’s 2:45pm and not 3pm. We said we can wait until 3pm (check in time), but she said she doesn’t know when the room will be ready. She couldn’t even give us an estimated time. After negotiating, we took a room on the 4th floor, noisier side, but away from traffic noise. Room ended up being quiet, but had problems. Toilet didn’t flush properly. It would not flush the toilet paper and excuse me for explaining this, but we do need to be able to use the toilet paper after doing business. So I ended up going downstairs and use the bathroom there, which was okay, since we were there for only one night. Coffee maker in room didn’t work and the desk chair was broken. Everything else was fine in a room. We weren’t ask at the check out (same lady that was at the check in) how our stay was. Breakfast was pretty much what you would expect from Comfort Inn / Suites brand. All in all, this Comfort Suites actually has some strong points and has a potential with proper customer service."

"Hotel is better than it looks. Rooms are updated, new furniture. Breakfast very basic. I didnt like that I tried to check in at 1.30 and a kid asked me for $20 cash to do an early check in. I feel that the boy wanted to do some extra cash that day. Also, my mattress was old. The middle of it will drop. I did not sleep very comfortable"

"Highlights - room is big, bed is comfortable, AC works as it should Lows - room could use maintenance updating: walls and ceiling patchwork, curtain falling off the rod, extremely worn tables and furniture. The room seemed clean, until we saw there was pee left of the toilet seat. Disgusting! Breakfast was pitiful! We went at 8am. No forks, toaster or replenishing of empty biscuits and gravy. I’m guessing a toaster wasn’t needed since the bread was stale. Breakfast area in lobby had worn chairs missing ceiling tiles. It’s the little things that are so noticeable. Elevators worked, but noticed the metal plate on wall next to door was bent out at ankle height. That could catch and cut a person’s leg entering the elevator. Will say something to front desk when we check out. Luckily we had an IHG discount from points we have accumulated from being an IHG repeat customer. Paying full price for this place would be a travesty."

"Check-in was simple but went downhill feom there. In the room, used contact lenses were on the arm of the stained sofa. The curtains were half hanging and half falling down. Sheets were dirty with blood stains. The bathroom caulking around the tub and toilet appeared to have been a kingergarten finger painting project. The room keya werw the old style where they will deprogram if placed on a cell phone or in a wallet with credt cards. This property appears to be Motel 6 and not a Marriott property. One elevator was out of service as well as the pool. From other reviews, it appears the elevator has been oit of service for 2 months and the pool has been "under renovations" for 6 months. Not typical of the Fairfield brand and corporate needa to visit and shutdown this property. Spend your $$$ elsewhere. Do not stay here unless the hotel pays you!"

"This a fantastic new hotel just off route 24 in Murfreesboro. Stayed here one night and was very impressed by the hotel and in particular the staff. Everyone was helpful, polite and friendly. The room was large and airy with plenty of space. Gym was good and the breakfast was the typical Marriott fare. Loads of parking with easy access. Overall a great place to stay!"

"This is not a good place to stay. Service desk staff lie and aren’t helpful. The room was filthy, food left in the fridge plus it was so loud, microwave had a hole in the door and looked as if someone had blown something up inside, the couch looked as if there was something stained on the cushions, the lamps either needed new bulbs or they were broken and breakfast is a carb fest. I did call to ask about the fridge due to it giving me bad anxiety from the ticking and was told the maintenance would come replace it the next day. The next day I was asked “do you really need a fridge?” I stayed from Friday until Monday. So no fridge or microwave the entire trip. I asked for it to be switched with another room and was told no. I could change rooms but that meant I had to clean the room again which took me 30 minutes upon arrival due to it not being cleaned properly, so I declined that but no type of compensation was offered for this problem either. Breakfast is the typical but never varied: waffles, powdered eggs, biscuits, sausage links, gravy, yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal packs, apples, oranges, bagels and bread items. They do have juice and coffee as well. The location is good but there’s a bunch of hotels on that side of town. Not sure how this has a 4.0 after staying."
