Forrest Hostel is clean, comfortable and safe. It had codes on the doors to dorms and front door which worked well. The staff were friendly and responsive to our questions. It has a kitchen where you can prep food, which is handy as there’s a fruit and veg market just outside. It was easy to get buses to places around Mumbai just opposite.

I had a really good time at forrest hostel Mumbai. Upon arrival, I was being charged a lot extra for arriving late by plane which was not the nicest start :( but it got better from there. Although the location of the hostel seemed sketchy when I arrived for the first time in the middle of night, the area is actually lively and cosy during day. The common areas are nice to chill at. The people working there are ready for you, especially this guy called Anand. Would recommend.
