Mulwala Resort

Mulwala resort is in a great location in between the Ski Club and RSL Club, the lake is also only a short walk from resort. The resort is an older type building but has be renovated and painted with new appliances and bathrooms. It has a great family room andpool that is solar heated. The staff are very friendly, we would recommend a stay at Mulwala Resort.

Such a great place to stay.We arrived a day early but they could still fit us in for the extra night. Room was very clean and had everything we needed like microwave ,coffee pod machine. Bed was super comfortable. There was a camp kitchen also with everything you could need, even small bags of ice to take if you want. I can not fault this motel would definitely stay here again. There also were plenty of different bin for recycling. Hosts were super nice and friendly.

Last minute decision to get away for the weekend and decided to stay here based on price and availability. Booked the room mid morning and arrived late afternoon. Price for room is average for this area. Easy to find although a little out of town but handy if you are going to the club a few doors down. Nice setting with easy parking out front room. Room was very dated as was furnishings but all was very clean. As we had booked ahead we were very surprised to find everything turned off at the powerpoint, including the fridge which we didn't realise until the next morning. It was a cold wet weekend so the electric blankets were needed but we had to move bed to find power points to turn them on. I've stayed in cheaper places where power is turned on, and in fact some places even have the heater or air con going to make room comfortable upon arrival. The only toiletries provided is soap. No shampoo sachets at all. And no tissues. I know most people travel with their own toiletries these days but it's the first place I've stayed in that didn't provide shampoo. It is nice that biscuits are provided with the tea & coffee but there was only 1 packet of biscuits for the 2 of us. Pillows on bed were very flat and I'm glad I travel with 1 of my own as it was definitely needed. With so many other choices of accommodation in town I wouldn't stay here again.

Loved our stay at Mulwalla resort, room was large, clean & comfy with a lovely view over lake Mulwalla. Club Mulwalla is a 2 minute easy walk, Yarrawonga is a 10 minute walk over the bridge. Megan our host was fantastic in finding & fixing a booking technicality.

I loved the heated swimming pool with the excellent poolside kitchen/entertaining room. The complimentary laundry room with washing powder and drying facilities was a lovely convenience fir our travel no having to find and sit around at a dingy laundrette we could instead put the wash on then sit back with a fresh glass of wine and relax in one of the lovely gazebo's dotted thoughout the beautiful tropical themed gardens "whilst doing the laundry" The rooms are situated away from the road with no traffic noise despite being less than 5 mins from the heart of Yarrawonga. Will absolutely stay here again wish I could rate this establishment higher as it was truly a gem of a place very glad we found it.

The resort was very homely and a friendly place to stay. The extra facilities are amazing
