Lake Mulwala Boatel ★★★

"We could not say anything more positive about our stay away at the boatel. The staff were amazing with our check in, and the always happy smiles in greeting us as we enjoyed our week long stay. From advising us of local attractions to ensuring the pool was at a great temperature and that the outside entertainment room was stocked with all the needed amenities. Great place to stay, great location, amazing water access. Everything you could need for a self contained stay was available from mini golf clubs and balls, through to fully stocked plates and utensils in the kitchen and clothes washing machine and dryer and clothes horse. A jug of cold water set up in the fridge for us and the air conditioning turned on for our arrival on a 35+ degree day. The rooms are self contained so make sure to take along all your own supplies such as food but also any glad wrap, foil, tomato sauce, food staples etc. Note that the car park has height limits of about 2.1 metres (from memory) so roof racks on big cars might mean you need to park across the road (but this is literally a 50 metre walk. If you have a boat trailer, make sure to bring trailer locks to secure in across road parking, of which there is plenty available. We had a nice drive to the All Saints winery and eating at their restaurant was a great trip out for the day, the ski club is close and easy, and our drinks and pizza at the Blacksmith Provedore was enjoyable. A highly recommended place to stay with everything close by."

"Wonderful park 5 minutes from Mulwala. Lovely clean amenities and surroundings. Very helpful staff and big sites with lots of grass. Well supported by courtesy buses from the clubs.the lake is just spectacular at sunset. Really nice swimming pool and ample space to do a bit of canoeing."

"We live nearby and hope that this club will provide good meals at a reasonable price and again severely disappointed. 4 meals and 3 out of 4 were not worth going out for. Sent back the entree calamari, $20 = 5 dried up pieces calamari with a limp lifeless salad. Fish was worse ever as the batter looked okay but when you cut into it it was dried up!! Really how hard. 10 years this place has offered .. under called meals. Please be better!!!"

"What a beautiful winter weekend escape, waking up to such a beautiful landscape and watching sunrise and sunset over the lake was just magic enjoyed with pelicans, ducks and swans. Everyone was helpful and having the ski club next door was convenient for both a morning coffee and an egg and bacon roll to dinner and a dance to the band at night Perfect weekend 😊"
