Although the hotel has no special appearance, the internal rooms are great. The large glass windows can see Chicheng Mountain and Yuanming Mountain, and you can see great scenery when you get up early.
It is also very close to Shiduan Street, there is a shuttle bus, you can also walk there.
Breakfast and dinner are also delicious, kaiseki cuisine level.
Service is excellent, it is the best service I have traveled so many times in Japan.

I booked a Japanese-style room with a view of Ikaho Ishidan Street outside the window. The hotel's environment, service, and food for one night and two meals were also very delicious. The aperitif was brewed by the hotel itself. It can be seen that a lot of thought has been put into running the hotel well. It is very warm and my family and children are extremely satisfied. The private bath provided by the Japanese-style room is also very comfortable and perfect.

Location of the Ryokan is excellent and very convenient. Service is fantastic from valet parking, front desk to in room dining. However, the property is very old and the dated. As the walls are thin, noisy neighbours made it difficult to sleep.

I used it for one night on a solo trip.
I booked the morning of the day and went to stay.
After arriving here, I noticed that there was no public bath in the hotel.
I went down from the top to the bottom of the stairs and entered the large communal bath of the affiliated hotel Tamaki. It was a little hard.
The room was smaller than I thought.

It's a newly built hotel and is very clean.
I was there for work so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the hotel.
I thought the hot springs and sauna were great for relaxing.

abolishsThe correct name of the hotel is Matsumoto Tower. The service of a family-run Japanese-style hotel must be impeccable. Each room has a dedicated receptionist. We are not good at Japanese, so we arranged an Indian waiter who understands some English (it seems Family-run Japanese-style hotels are gradually becoming international). The tatami room arranged for us is super large. There are two main halls and three toilets of 70 or 80 square meters. There is no problem for eight people; one night and two meals are exquisite. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, breakfast is Japanese buffet; there are open-air natural hot springs (iron brown hot springs) on the 8th and 2nd floors of the roof. The bubbles before and after meals are very comfortable. The hotel has a free bus to Ikaho Hot Spring Ishidan Street (Matsumoto The lady enthusiastically recommended us to ride, and his English is good); in short, a very good experience.

The room felt a little outdated, but it wasn't a problem especially for the stay.
You can barely hear footsteps from other rooms or voices from the hallway.
However, the staff were very nice, and I liked the variety of rice buffets.
The staff at Viking were also very nice and easy to ask questions to.
There are many kinds of buffet from breakfast, and some hotels pretend to have many kinds and have the same thing in several places, but here it was all different kinds.
There was also a corner where you could make seafood bowls.
I felt like I was able to get excited from the morning.
It was a hotel that I would like to visit again.
Another thing that was really nice for me was that they had an extension cord in the room.
I think most hotels don't have a place to charge your phone, so sometimes it's a bit far away to charge your phone, or you can't reach the alarm clock next to you when you go to sleep, but they provided an extension cord so I didn't have to worry about that. .
It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the stone steps.

Guest UserI extended my stay by two days because I found it so comfortable. The hotel's breakfast and dinner were slightly different each day to avoid repetition. The hot springs were also very relaxing. Only a few staff members speak English; I hope they continue to provide enthusiastic service to their guests.
