Very clean and tidy. Room as pictured. Staff lovely... thank goodness for google translate. Private hot pools great...large. You had to get in quick as no booking - but good sysyem on co.outer to see when free. I American breakfast good (except tomato sauce ON tge omelette). Omelette was light and fluffy. Only about 10 minutes walk to the steps.

I booked a Japanese-style room with a view of Ikaho Ishidan Street outside the window. The hotel's environment, service, and food for one night and two meals were also very delicious. The aperitif was brewed by the hotel itself. It can be seen that a lot of thought has been put into running the hotel well. It is very warm and my family and children are extremely satisfied. The private bath provided by the Japanese-style room is also very comfortable and perfect.

It should be regarded as the best hotel in Yixiangbao. It has a history of more than 400 years, but it does not feel old. Several soups are great. The service staff are professional and thoughtful. The small robot in the lobby is super cute. There is a small restaurant on the 19th floor to the entrance and exit of the stone steps, three private rooms, open at 8-11 every night, fried dumplings and ramen are delicious. The people in this place are friendly and hospitable. Udon noodles are local specialties, and each one is delicious; the ancestral stone pot curry rice of the Black Boat House is particularly delicious; Sara's Terrace Arraiya 's package is very homely; Lungo's own roasted coffee is the best to drink, with a bunch of rice cakes is too fragrant! The matcha shop next to the ladder is already very popular, but the clerk is so enthusiastic. When I fell down, I immediately took the first aid kit and ran out to deal with the wound. I was moved! The nearby original gallery is also worth a visit, in a pasture with lots of sheep.

I used it for one night on a solo trip. I booked the morning of the day and went to stay. After arriving here, I noticed that there was no public bath in the hotel. I went down from the top to the bottom of the stairs and entered the large communal bath of the affiliated hotel Tamaki. It was a little hard. The room was smaller than I thought.

I visited during a three-day weekend in November. I was lucky to get a reservation the day before my stay. However, the hotel was a little outside of Ikaho's tourist attractions, so walking might be difficult if you can't catch the shuttle bus. The stone steps are about a 10-minute walk away, but the walk is quite steep (though the taxi driver said it was possible to walk there). The shuttle bus doesn't run directly to the hotel entrance and stops after 6 PM, so I wanted to take photos of the night view of the stone steps and Kajika Bridge, but it was cold outside and the slope made it difficult. The hot springs I was looking forward to were the rock bath in the basement and the large public bath on the third floor. The rock bath is timed and alternates between men and women, but it can be difficult for men to use at times. It's open until 8 PM in the evening and from 8:30 AM in the morning (otherwise, it's only available to women). Check-in is at 5 PM, so if you eat dinner after 6 PM, you won't have time to use the rock bath, which is a bit disappointing when you're busy getting ready to leave in the morning. The large public bath was clean and nice, but... Dinner was a buffet and breakfast was a buffet. There was crab at the buffet, but it was watery and not much meat. The sushi was probably conveyor belt sushi-level, wasn't it? It's a shame, as many of the other dishes and meats were delicious. I also wish there was an all-you-can-drink option. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying! All the food was delicious. My room was a twin, but it was clean and had a small cypress bath in the indoor bath! It was nice that you could see the occupancy status of each facility on the TV. The staff were all polite, but if you're expecting old-fashioned hospitality, you might be disappointed. It's a sign of the times, I guess. Overall, there were some disappointments, but I was satisfied!

I can see that it is a historical hotel. Because it is a Saturday relationship, the unit price I booked is a bit high, but compared to the hotel in Tokyo, I am relieved. This hot spring hotel is all-Japanese, breakfast and dinner are all, if you want to drink coffee, there is a vending machine, The room and the hot spring feel that there is a new finishing, only the hall has traces of history.
