Aurora at the front desk, noticing we were traveling with elderly and children, generously upgraded our garden view double room to a river view king room free of charge. She also thoughtfully arranged for both rooms to be adjacent. Aurora was truly lovely and incredibly helpful, always responding to our questions promptly. The rooms were spacious, and both the cleanliness and service were of five-star quality. We had a fantastic experience overall!"

"I rarely write reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a spacious room, which was fully equipped with smart facilities, incredibly comfortable, and spotless. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was impeccable. To find such an amazing five-star hotel for just over 300 was truly incredible value! The hotel even boasts a privately curated museum, though unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit. On top of that, they provided complimentary breakfast for our three children, which we truly appreciated. We'll definitely be staying here again if we return to the area."

"The accommodation is located next to the Jinshan Bridge. The ancient city is across the bridge. You can see Guangji Bridge from the hotel rooftop. It is 1.5 kilometers to Guangji Bridge on this side of the hotel. In front of the hotel is Huanjiang Greenway. Below is a wetland park. The park is not big and suitable for a morning walk. There is a market behind the hotel with many braised ducks. The Jiazhao sashimi downstairs is also good. Friends who like raw marinated food must go to Fengchun white porridge. Highly recommended! The hotel environment is worthy of the price of 99, and there are two dinners, which can be said to be super value. The breakfast rice rolls are not bad. If you are particularly picky about the environment, you can go to the Linjiang Hotel next door. 😅The price is here, don't be picky."

"The hotel is in the ancient city, which is very big. You can't visit it all without staying in for 2 days. The hotel environment is very clean and tidy, the service is very thoughtful, and there will be a shuttle bus to pick you up nearby!"

"I have to commend the amenities on the second floor – the self-service laundry and gym are an absolute godsend for travelers! The laundry machines were clean and efficient, leaving clothes fluffy and soft after drying – a huge plus for guests staying more than a couple of nights. While the adjacent gym isn't huge, it's well-equipped with essentials like treadmills and dumbbells, perfect for unwinding and de-stressing after a busy day. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to answer questions and quick to assist. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Shantou."

Plus, its location, just a five-minute walk from Guangji Bridge, was incredibly convenient! The guesthouse staff provided exceptionally thoughtful service. Upon arrival, we received a useful guide and a list of local food recommendations. I was also very satisfied with the cleanliness; the room felt spotless, and all items appeared to have been disinfected! Worth mentioning, the shampoo and body wash had a lovely fragrance! One minor suggestion for improvement: the vanity counter was a bit small. A small side table for toiletries and skincare products would significantly enhance the experience. Additionally, I'd recommend the owner add a full-length mirror to the room, which would be super handy for getting ready before heading out 😄."

"The owner of the B&B is friendly and efficient in answering questions. The apartment has good facilities. The bathroom is divided into wet and dry categories. There is also a washing machine. There are many charging stations. There is always a system nearby. Although the floor is high, the hot water supply is always good. The open river view outside the window is refreshing and lovely. There is a cute little bear. Homeware, loved by young and old alike It is not far from the main attractions Guangji Bridge and the ancient city area. You can walk or take a taxi in a few minutes to get there. It was a very good stay experience this time, and the elderly were also very satisfied. I will stay here again next time"

"The guesthouse is right on the edge of the ancient city, next to Chaozhou West Lake. I started looking for accommodation in Chaozhou while I was still in Shantou, and I always check reviews and trust the choices of others. This place certainly didn't disappoint! The hotel's facade isn't grand, but it has a charming, antique feel. The owner upgraded us to a high-floor lake view room, and the scenery was fantastic. The room had two 1.5-meter beds, perfectly suiting our family trip needs. It was spacious, and there was even a tatami balcony where we could enjoy tea, the view, and simply relax. The bathroom was also very clean, with all amenities provided. The bath towels and toilet seat covers were all disposable, which felt very hygienic. I usually pack many of my own toiletries when traveling, but the quality of what the hotel provided was surprisingly even better and thicker than mine – very generous! Our schedule was quite tight, and my child accidentally left their braces behind when we checked out. The kind owner found them for us and even sent them by express delivery. We are extremely grateful! Chaozhou is definitely a place worth spending an extra couple of days to slowly soak in the local culture and life. I highly recommend this place. For us, two things are most important when traveling: location and room cleanliness, and this hotel excels at both. If I ever visit Chaozhou again, I wouldn't hesitate to book here. It saves me the trouble and effort of painstakingly searching for a room until midnight!"
