"Had a lovely 1 night stay here - the hotel is right in the middle of the old town area but down a quiet back street so it’s nice and quiet on an evening but a close walk to the tourist areas. Ula and Leo on reception were very helpful, they kept checking in on us by wechat to make sure everything was ok and we had everything we needed - they also let us do a late check out for no extra charge. The aesthetic of the hotel is very traditional Chaozhou style, but the rooms are very modern inside. No complaints at all and would definitely stay again if I come back to Chaozhou."

"Location is a bit far but I like it because it is quiet and away from crowds. Lobby staffs is very helpful and friendly. The place feels like a resort instead of a typical hotel. The hotel restaurant do not operate 24 hours. Breakfast is included in the room that I paid and they provide a simple supper every night from 9pm to 11pm. There is a seafood restaurant about 5 mins walk outside the hotel, the food is fresh and very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, I will stay there again if I am back. The only complain that I have is the internet connection in the room is almost non existence."

"I stayed in this hotel during my May Day trip to Chaozhou. The hotel is strategically located close to Hanjiang River, near Jinshan Bridge, and less than 10 minutes' drive from Guangji Bridge. Although it is not in the downtown area, it is convenient to travel to scenic spots and there is no traffic jam nearby. The hotel parking lot is large and has enough parking spaces. The front desk warmly received me when I checked in, and briefly introduced the facilities and overview of the hotel. Because I booked a high-level room, the room is large, with a bathtub, and the sanitary conditions are very good. Standing in the room window, you can see the night view of Hanjiang River and Jinshan Bridge, and the night view of Guangji Bridge can also be vaguely seen, with beautiful scenery! Breakfast is a Cantonese tea order form, and a 100 yuan voucher is given, which is enough for two people to consume, and there are many breakfast varieties. The hotel also has a gym and a children's playground, which are relatively well equipped. If I have any suggestions, first, the room rates during the May Day holiday have increased a lot, almost three times more than usual, and I still hope for a more cost-effective travel during the holiday; second, the drainage in the room I stayed in seemed to have a problem. I could hear the sound of drainage for a long time after taking a shower. The drainage outlet seemed to be very long and wide, so there must be a problem with the drainage system; third, it is recommended that the soap box be made of solid material, otherwise there will always be water stains on the countertop after washing hands, affecting hygiene. Overall, it was a relatively satisfactory stay!"

In the ancient city of Chaozhou, it is not difficult to find a unique B&B or hotel, but it is not easy to find one with Chaozhou cultural characteristics. Instead, you need to find the attentive service, environment and immersive experience of a five-star hotel. For a cultural experience, I believe there is only one Chaozhou Royal Hotel in Chaozhou. Unlike ordinary Internet celebrity hotels, the hotel will not be open to non-hotel guests or restaurant guests. This is a good thing for guests because you will not see the entire lobby filled with tourists calling in. Starting from the hotel gate, you can completely separate yourself from the busy streets of the ancient city and enjoy another world. Many people have already mentioned the thoughtful details of check-in, so I won’t go into details here. What particularly surprised me was the cultural experience arranged by the hotel. We stayed for three nights in total and participated in three different cultural experiences, including Teochew opera, colored porcelain experience and making red peach trees. They are not ordinary superficial experiences. The teachers in each project are representatives of the field. You can have in-depth communication with them and learn the foundation of Chaozhou traditional culture. It is particularly worth mentioning that the teacher of the Colored Porcelain Experience is a national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritor. I really benefited a lot from studying with him for a whole morning. Another thing that must be mentioned is the hotel's breakfast provision. In addition to the breakfast that can be delivered to the room, there is also a taste-seeking tour with the hotel butler in the streets in the morning, which is a very down-to-earth gourmet experience. So, even if the price seems not cheap, as long as you have stayed there, you will know that it is worth the money, because you are not just staying in a hotel, but in a living dictionary of Chaozhou culture!"

Rosewood sculptures can be seen everywhere, with a strong artistic atmosphere. The room layout is spacious, the bedding is very comfortable, and the service is superb.
