Nightcap at York on Lilydale Reviews

We had a wonderful stay here while transiting through lilydale. The room was so big, clean and comfortable!

Room is spacious, and has all facility we need. Should allow complimentary late checkout of 1 hr However, the pool needs some maintenance to be used.

If u plan to stay in this hotel please read carefully for the kids stay we have been pay for the extra charge for4 kids stay without any notice just simply charge to our credit card until we get notice from bank. Spoilt my whole trip with this unhappy experience with trip.com. my first time book with trip.com and get this kind of experiences.

over all is nice, room is big enough, and very clean. Also have a nice garden view.

Disappointed firstly the pool was really dirty and cold, even we were there on a warm day, no one can swim in there. We stayed for 2 night but I don’t think our towels get changed. The one hang up on the rack look dirty with spot on them. The service was terrible. We went to the reception to ask to help for printing the parking display that we need for the puffing billy. I know it’s our responsibility but it would be just a one minute job to print out a single sheet of paper. And indeed I was more upset with the attitude rather than the service itself. She could have tell me in a more informative way than say, I have a 20 minutes report to write, early on a Sunday morning. Also tried the bistro bar. Ordered burger for my son, which was not cooked properly and when I let the staff know, she brought back the cash without even asking any question of what our preference was. Salmon salad was bland. We also ordered the mixed platter, most of the food were burnt. Definitely Not gonna come back to either hotel or restaurant.

We stayed at York on Lilydale because we were there for a gig. We were very surprised by how nice the room was. Beautiful view, comfortable bed and the spa was luxurious. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. If I didn’t have to work I’d have stayed another night.

It was very clean and was a smooth late check in.

The environment is good, the place is big, well-equipped, and it is very convenient to have a restaurant.
