Very nice hotel. It's kind of located in the middle of the market, so if you don't like any noise, maybe it's not the best choice for you. For me the market was a plus, I like those.
And:
*the place is very clean
*you can really see Kilimanjaro, even if you don't have a view from your room, you can always go to the rooftop and enjoy it from there
*you can have you meals at the rooftop
*the staff it AMAZING, they are very nice and helpful
*the location is pretty convenient

Everything was nice, for instance, room status, restroom state, and the hospitality of the staff are alright. It's enough to feel the mood of Africa. Depending on the direction of the balcony, it is possible to see the scenic beauty of mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

East Point Hotel has excellent room service. Ony one call away. The staff members are always ready to cater to your every need 24/7. Owner is very welcoming. The rooms have nice air conditioning The food is delicious. Gives you a feeling of the natural spices

The EastPoint hotel Moshi with best view of moshi on the rooftop, I stayed there was comfort bed.The satff were really good and the food was amazing realy good. The Rooftop was wow good view of Moshi.

I booked this hotel from my Emirates miles and wasn't sure what to expect but was very nicely surprised. Ok, it's not a luxurious hotel but the rooms are spacious and clean with a little balcony, beds are comfortable and the staff is beyond friendly and attentive. When I arrived from my Kili hike, I just wanted to take a hot shower but the electricity was down in the street so the staff heated a bucket of water for me to wash. It was soo nice. Luckily later the electricity came back so didn't have to sit around in the dark. Only the heater for the hot shower is set for luke warm and because it's very high at the ceiling you cannot change it so the water is not really hot. The breakfast is plenty with an egg, pancake, fruit, toast bread and tea or coffee. The view from the rooftop terrace is worth a visit, they offer a restaurant/bar service there even though it's not an official restaurant there. The hotel has an elevator. There is a market in the area if you need anything... very lively area. Generally I considered it a safe area. The moto taxi to the bus station costs about 2.000 Tsh.

We were looking for two days accomodation in a comfortable place and the taxi guy recommended East point. We enjoyed every minute of our stay due easy access of facilities with an elevetor and a very beautiful view of the Mount Kilimanjaro from the hotel rooftop. I definately recommend a place.

I real enjoy staying in this hotel close to everything in town. The bed was very comfortable with best view of Mount Kilimanjaro Mountain. The glass elevator and very clean service, I enjoy the movie night
