It was good experience in this hotel. Location is convenient to reach famous spots. It is near the Statue of Freddie Mercury. I stayed on the 3rd floor, but trees hide some views of lake. But it was good experience and nice memory. I recommend this hotel. Food is good and service is good.

The people at breakfast are so nice. Rooms are old and small but clean.

Location is very good, it is by the esplanade and near the main street. Our lake-facing room has a balcony and we enjoyed the relaxing view very much. The room is big for our family of 3 adults. The only feedback I would like to give is to have kettle and complimentary coffee/tea provided which is now a standard in all hotels. In our case we had to ask for a kettle. The staff at the reception are very friendly; we have good advice on where to visit, and they have been helpful in booking for us a taxi.

10 min walk from the train station and facing the lake, the location is great and the view from the small balcony is awsome. The hotel is getting old. Even if it is well maintained, renovation and modernisation is needed.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Hotel Eden Palace Au Lac ; staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful and clean.

Had a lovely room balcony overlooking the lake. Juliana was a great help getting us checked in we so appreciate it!! Montreux is just an amazing place! The hotel needs a bit of sprucing up however it’s in a perfect location, it still wears its historic grandeur well!

Good location. Basic ameneties, except that it doesn’t have water kettle for hot water. Breakfast is not so good - limited variety.

How difficult is it to get a pillow in this five-star hotel? I checked in for one night on the evening of October 2, local time. On that day, I first met two female front desk staff. The service was quite professional and they arranged a relatively large room for us. However, the Indian front desk staff who was on duty at night and lied a lot (no racial discrimination, just for positioning) directly led us to give this (so-called) five-star hotel a score of 0. We first saw a service on the hotel's official website, claiming that customers can contact the service staff when needed and choose their favorite pillows (in China, three-star hotels such as the All Seasons may have such a service). So we called the front desk at 10 o'clock and said that we wanted 2 pillows of a certain type. The front desk staff said that they understood what we wanted and would provide it later. About half an hour later, we asked the front desk again. He first asked what exactly do you need and said that he was the only one on duty at night and he could not provide it. We went downstairs to find the front desk directly. He said that the hotel did not have this service; I slammed the official website page in his face, and he said that this required an appointment and had "actively" called to tell us. In our opinion, he has been lying. After the argument, he said he could give it to us, but he had to wait for us to check the rooms one by one to find the pillows and asked us the room number. 10 minutes later, he brought one (later found to have stains), I said I wanted 2. 10 minutes later, he brought another one. So, can you count how many lies he told :) It's hard to find two pillows in a five-star hotel. In addition, the furniture and bathing facilities are old; the breakfast is at the same level as a 3-diamond hotel. The hotel is right by the lake, with a very good view.

The room is very nice. The room facing the lake has Lake Geneva as soon as you open the window. It only takes two minutes to walk from the hotel garden to the lake. There is a supermarket next to it, which is very convenient for shopping. The hotel's breakfast is also good. This room rate is really cost-effective for Montreux.

very good! Although the hotel is very historical, the interior should be renovated, and the view from the room facing the lake is very good. Opening the terrace door in the morning is a real pleasure. It is a pity that I only booked it for one night. The breakfast is also good, and the dining place is Very beautiful
