On a weekend getaway with the wife. Really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The Family room (common area) was a nice touch to enjoy a cocktail before going out. Dozens of great restaurants, cafés and shops within walking distance. Bonus that café Olympico was right in the building too.
Rooms were clean modern (new part of the hotel).
Overall it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to heading back during patio season.

First off, Kenny was amazing. Thank you for making our trip special. Besides that, the hotel was great and the bar was nice. We paid for the room with a terrace. The room was nice, but the terrace was underwhelming. We thought there would be chairs. It seems just to be a smoking spot, or else I’m not sure what it’s for. There was no view. Overall, great hotel and would stay here again. The room was always clean. There was music we could hear from our room in the mornings but it was relatively quiet. The location in old town was great we enjoyed walking around and had a nice atmosphere.

The location in Old Montreal is perfect, allowing easy access to shops, restaurants and night life for our group! The guest rooms are cozy and the guest room showers are excellent! Meeting space feels private compaired to other hotels. The banquet food is the best our group has experienced! All of the hotel staff made us feel welcomed and almost like we were family or like the hotel was our home away from home!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our wedding at Hotel William Gray, a true 4.6-star gem in the heart of Old Port. From day one, Aline, our Wedding Specialist, went above and beyond to make sure my vision came to life. She was quick to respond, worked hand-in-hand with my coordinator, and most importantly, it was Aline who made it possible to upgrade both our reception ballroom and my bridal preparation suite. Thanks to her, we had a gorgeous larger ballroom with room for a live band stage and a spacious suite for getting ready with my bridal party. On the wedding day itself, the maître d’ seamlessly took over after Aline left, ensuring the entire night ran flawlessly. From the bar staff to servers, every team member went out of their way to make sure our guests were well cared for and even discreetly kept our celebration private. We also stayed at William Gray for three nights, with a complimentary wedding night stay complete with champagne and sweets — an unforgettable touch. The location in the heart of Old Port was perfect, the cleanliness and noise levels excellent, and while the value is on the higher end, the service and experience were absolutely worth it. Thank you to Aline, the maître d’, and the entire Hotel William Gray staff for giving us a wedding and stay we will never forget. Highly recommended to any couple looking for elegance, professionalism, and true care on their big day.

From the moment you check in everything first class. We arrived in YUL early but they did their best to accommodate our early arrival. I thought the valet parking would be A challenge with the tight quarters in Old town. It was not. The Terrasse roof top is not to be missed. Maggie Oaks for breakfast was superb. I highly recommend Hotel William Gray.

The venue is stunning, with a mix of elegance and charm that created the ideal backdrop for our celebration. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel supported throughout the entire process. Our guests were equally impressed and still talk about how beautiful and seamless everything was. And we cannot forget to mention the food—it was absolutely amazing!
