Manoir Sherbrooke

Hi. Perfect location for everything. Very clean and very good staff. Breakfast was good . We upgraded ( just one degree) to get a superior queen room ; you need to go up another degree to get a room that mirrors the photos. We were disappointed with our room ; with it being small and no decent view ( fire escape) . There are indeed rooms that mirror the pics but you need to pay a bit more ! Thanks for a lovely week , happy to return , but we need to pay you more

We had booked and paid for 3 nights at Manoir Sherbrooke for our stay in Montreal, but after the second night we were forced to find an alternative hotel at our own expense due to a very unpleasant experience. In the middle of the second night, a mouse was running around our room. This was extremely distressing, and I had to go down to reception in my pajamas to report it. Unfortunately, the staff practically ignored me and treated the situation as if it were trivial or normal to have rodents running through hotel rooms. This lack of concern made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, leaving us no choice but to check out early. On top of that, although we had reserved a superior room, the bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor, leaving us sore in the morning. The window looked directly onto a fire escape, which gave us the unsettling impression that anyone from the street could easily access the room. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay here! 💛 Cozy front garden, stylish rooms with modern bathrooms, comfy beds, and a gorgeous bay window in our tower room. Free Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the staff were super nice. Perfect spot near cute shops and great restaurants. No parking on-site, but it’s easy to find nearby. We’ll be back!

We loved our delightful stay at this charming hotel. The host was very friendly and helpful in assisting us to our room on that first night we arrived in Montreal quite tired from our flight. The room on June 26, 2025, was gorgeous, and facing the front. Later in our stay we were in another enchanting room at the back of the hotel (July 10 - 12) where it was much quieter. Breakfast was included with our stay, in the bustling parlour where it was difficult to find a seat as this is a very popular hotel! Coffee, tea, toast and hard boiled eggs plus yogurt was the fare. In the evenings we could have tea, coffee or hot chocolate and this was lovely after a long day of exploring the delights of Montreal. Although we spoke very little French, our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and we truly enjoyed our stay in old Montreal and would highly recommend the hotel to all. The bathrooms were spotless and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Thanks so much for our lovely stay!
