One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I will rate zero for cleanliness. There was no fridge or microwave available in the room. Breakfast was horrible - nothing was available when we went there and people were waiting for food and haven't seen any one from the hotel. The elevator was out of order and I saw people getting stuck. Avoid this place at all cost

In my previous response I noted we were unable to make the trip as amtrak had to cancel all service to Montreal owing to a mudslide that blocked all four tracks on that route. We were unable to locate alternate transportation, called to cancel and were informed if we did not show they would keep the entire deposit. Fortunately, we had planned only three nights. Image the windfall they would have received if we had planned two week stay!

The location of this establishment was great, you were within a very short drive/walk to the old downtown of Montreal. The place itself I would classify it as a high class motel rather than an hotel in my opinion. The two queen beds we had were great and clean and so was the washroom. The room could have been tidied up a bit more but overall was okay. The hotel does not have room service. Breakfast was included for our stay and it was your standard breakfast, but it was good and you could not go wrong with it. The parking lot unfortunately was very costly, $46 per night and the space was super tight, if you are driving a minivan or a truck, you will definitely have a harder time parking. Overall it's a decent place, if location is all that matters and you are willing to sacrifice a little bit on the service then this place is good for you.

The location was excellent 5 mins away from 747 and metro , but it’s more like a motel… no room service at night
The night we arrived at 5 pm , didn’t get our room till 9 pm
We were told the system was broke down and they fully over booked
So many people waiting for room , luckily we got what we book for
But no next time for me :)

The worst hotel service I have ever seen. I physically asked 3 times for my room to be clean and no one give a damn. I slept in unclean room for 3 days. Very rude and crappy lifestyle. I wish there was a zero or negative star. I would have given it to this hotel. The pictures are misleading. It took two hours to check me in the hotel. And they blamed the system for the delays

This is an old hotel founded in 1967. The facilities are old, but it is clean and the rooms are large. The room rate is reasonable. There is free breakfast. The freshly baked croissants are delicious. The front desk service is good and there is free luggage storage. The hotel is in a good location. The Hyatt Hotel is nearby. It is easy to find. It is very close to Saint-Catherine Street on Rainbow Road. Walk along Catherine Street to Saint-Laurent Street, turn left and go straight for about 15 minutes to reach Chinatown. In addition to Qiangji Cantonese Restaurant and Linzaiji Roasted Meat Shop in Chinatown, some other restaurants not only have bad food, but also Chinese waiters have poor service attitudes towards Chinese people and force tips. The bad ones include pickled fish + Yifang milk tea comprehensive store, Weishiji, etc. The hotel is about half an hour's walk to the Old Port of Montreal. At night, you can see the Old Port Ferris wheel lit in front of the hotel. Just walk in this direction.

As soon as I opened the door, I was hit by a foul smell. The window could not be opened. I guess it was because the toilet pipes were old. The drainage in the bathtub was very slow. The feet had to be soaked in water to bathe, which felt very dirty. The flush of the toilet often could not be turned on, causing the toilet to flow continuously. For breakfast, there were croissants (hot and crispy), which were quite delicious, and donut cereal, with very light coffee, milk, and jam. Anyway, you can eat enough. The parking fee is 30 Canadian dollars a day plus tax. We parked across the street. It said that we could park from 11 pm to 8 am, but we saw many cars parked like this, so we didn't care. The room is really old

Good welcome, clean room, but a small downside for breakfast: not varied enough (no fruit for example) and not in sufficient quantity.

The location is excellent in the city center, but the streets outside are messy, the room is old and shabby, and you need to move your boxes up the steps at the door. The parking fee is $45 a night, which is exorbitant. The parking lot next door is $18 a night.

The shower room in the hotel bathroom is not designed properly and there is no place to put toiletries.
