The hotel was such a wonderful respite from the cares of the world. It was such a beautiful place, so peaceful,and private. Costumer service was excellent. Roy was very welcoming and gave us tips on where to go sightseeing and where to go to eat authentic Costa Rican food . We had such a nice stay at the hotel. I love the secluded place .Thank you Roy for your great service and a lovely place .

Ondanks de zeer toeristische omgeving is dit een relatief rustig en kleinschalig park. De omgeving is prachtig. Auto parkeren naast je huisje. Het huisje zelf is echter zeer basic. Van binnen lijkt het of de tijd heeft stilgestaan sinds 1980. De inrichting en meubilair is totaal niet meer van deze tijd. Het keukentje is eigenlijk niet te gebruiken. Er is 1 kookpan en smoezelige koekenpan. De koelkast is ok. De kookplaat heeft twee pitten maar die kun je niet tegelijk gebruiken. Verder liet de schoonmaak te wensen over. Overal vonden we dode beestjes en spinrag. De badkamer incl toilet , tja daar kon je je k*nt niet keren. We hadden ook niet het gevoel er schoner uit te komen. Wel heet water trouwens. Wij hadden cabin 1. Hoe het park aan zo’n hoge beoordeling komt is ons echt een raadsel. Gastheer is overigens wel correct en vriendelijk. Wij zouden deze locatie echter niet aanraden. Gelukkig gaan we morgen weer verder. Twee nachten is eigenlijk teveel.

Great little cabin for the family - beds were comfortable, the hosts were great, and the setting is gorgeous. We woke up to the birds, and took a walk on the beautiful grounds in the morning. Nice and quiet, so it was a great place to crash for the night and recharge for the next day.

We had a great time at this hotel. Exactly as described. The room were spacious (we stayed in the family cabin) and the staff were very friendly and made great suggestions for where to go and what to visit. The kids loved the on-site dogs and exploring the lovely and private property.

Upon our arrival, we were immediately impressed by the property's beauty and felt right at home in our cabin. The cabin was remarkably spacious and immaculately clean, offering every amenity we needed. As a family-owned and operated complex, the property is expansive and boasts beautifully maintained lawns and a sunset lookout within walking distance. The property is a short drive from the town center. Roy communicated with us throughout our stay, providing helpful tips before and after our visit. Thanks to Roy, Nazareth, and family for making our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience in Monteverde!
