The hotel is very nicely decorated with antiques by the owners. The rooms are very confortable.
Breakfast is served between 8.30 and 9.30. We enjoyed our stay at The Jabberwock and would highly recommend it.

The Jabberwocky Inn it’s a beautiful old Victorian filled with delights. Dorothy and her team made this stay easy and fun.

Rick, Suzanne, and Dorothy consistently went above and beyond on our 3-night stay. The home and grounds are overflowing with curated character in every nook and cranny. Waking up to look out our room’s windows as the sun first peeked over the Gabilan Mountains and lit up the sky over Monterey Bay will be a lasting memory. Breakfasts and happy hours in the sunroom were top-notch (especially the award-winning Jabber Juice). We met interesting people and had great conversations - we even returned home with art and unique coffee mugs as well! We will definitely be back.

Had a two night stay at the Jabberwock, Suzanne, Rick and Dorothy were very welcoming, quaint rooms, lovely location, wine and food at happy hour were lovely as were the breakfasts, very different combinations. Very close to Fishermans wharf and Cannery Row

We discovered the Jabberwock 8 years ago as a destination for our honeymoon. We fell in love with the place. Suzanne and Rick are wonderful hosts. The decor and feel of the place is delightful. The breakfasts are unique and tasty. We have rented every year since then. We are already booked for next year.

It is clear that this owner run inn puts hospitality above all else. There was simply nothing Suzanne and Rick would not do to ensure one’s stay met all expectations. Breakfast, wine & hors d’oevres just great. Location is very convenient - just a few easy minutes walk to restaurants etc Yes, some element of modernisation/ upgrade could be beneficial, but this doesn’t detract from overriding enjoyment of stay.

Interesting bed and breakfast where you feel like you are back in the past at grandma’s house. We met interesting people at both afternoon wine and breakfast. Very different from impersonal motels. There is no tv in the rooms. Hosts look after you and food was good. We liked the coffee and tea set up and cookies. If you want modern decor and large bathrooms it’s not for you. If you want to feel like you are staying at a big family home you will be happy.

This was our third stay at The Jabberwock Inn. It's a bit of a quirky little place, but that adds to the charm. It is very clean, and it is located just blocks away from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row, restaurants, and the coast for some sea lion watching. The breakfasts are all delicious (you won't need lunch!), and the hosts are very cognizant of dietary restrictions. Their breakfast setup and afternoon Happy Hours encourage guest interaction. My only suggestion is that they invest in some new towels. We look forward to returning!
