"Very good stay at Lantingyuan Hotel. The hotel is new and has a modern elegant design, with spacious common areas. The furniture is tasteful and focused on tea style. Also a tea showroom space (open for selling goods) Service and responsiveness: - The staff promptly accommodated requests for two additional pillows. - We requested a quiet room away from the elevator, which was arranged successfully. Room and amenities: - The room features a thoughtful layout, with a separated shower and toilet. - The view is striking in the evenings, especially with the colorful LED lights from the neighboring hotel building. - Clean room Check-in and dining: - Check-in was fast. - We were offered one breakfast for two people for free during our two-night stay. - Free ice cream in the hall was a pleasant surprise. Minor drawback: - The minibar/fridge is not present, which is common in some hotels in China. Overall impression: - A very good stay with attentive staff and a strong design-forward vibe. Would consider returning for future visits."

"I feel that Mojiang itself is very boring. It may be because it is close to the Spring Festival and most of the shops are closed. It is just an underdeveloped small county. But this hotel is right next to the Tropic of Cancer, with convenient transportation and modern decoration. We stayed here temporarily on our way back from the trip. The room felt very homely and we had a good impression of the hotel."

"I was a little tired for most of the month in Yunnan by car and rested in Mojiang. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Tropic of Cancer sign park and the Twins Cultural Park, within walking distance. There are many places to eat around and life is convenient. The hotel room was very clean and quiet, the public area was equipped with a washing machine, the front desk service was warm, and we stayed for four days."

"To visit the Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park, I stayed overnight in the small town of Mojiang. After much searching, I chose this Mysterious Encounter Ethnic Theme Hotel! Experiencing the hotel proved my choice was right. The hotel was fantastic in every way – from its infrastructure and cleanliness to the service details, the cultural ambiance, and its proximity to the attractions! My husband loved it too! The hotel has a partnership with the Tropic of Cancer Landmark Park and the Twins Cultural Park, saving you 5 yuan on tickets. (It's best to call the front desk to find out when the promotion ends.) Mojiang is known as the hometown of purple rice, and the hotel's purple breakfast was incredibly delicious. The fourth-floor restaurant is a succulent extravaganza, allowing you to indulge in a succulent feast – unfortunately, you can't take any home! The view from the restaurant overlooks the distant mountains; in the morning, there's a misty atmosphere, and in the afternoon, the sun shines brightly! The whole town is quiet and cozy. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Mojiang!"

"I went there based on the good reviews above, and my personal experience was pretty good, consistent with the reviews. Towels and slippers are disinfected and put into disposable bags. The bedding is OK, no odor. If you have trouble sleeping because the room is close to the highway, please make a request when choosing a room. No matter which position the waiters are in, they greet the guests warmly and politely. Easy parking. The breakfast buffet has many varieties. The overall feeling is good, I will go again next time."

"For the price of 75 nights, the price/performance ratio is definitely very high. The hotel also has an elevator and there are supermarkets and restaurants around. Putting aside the price, let's talk about the shortcomings. The hotel has been around for many years, the house is old, the toilet is offensive, and the plug in the sink is gone. I think this boss can buy one from the Internet, and there are no two rooms. The purple parking space opposite the door, don't stop, it is a charge, someone will put a note on the wiper in a while. I just stopped and asked the boss if I could stop? The boss said yes, but he would move it at 7 o'clock the next morning and said he could take me to a alley. Thinking that you don't have to worry, it is convenient to unload your luggage first, and you have to drive out to eat for a while, so you don't move it first, and you will be charged when you go downstairs. 4 yuan. The hotel has no parking space, it will take some small dead ends nearby to park. The window facing the street will be very noisy. It is always too big. It is OK to close the window. The sound is much smaller, but the toilet is offensive. I just want to open the window to breathe."
