My review isn't going to be as flattering as the other reviews. Check in was fine and we got to our room, and it was okay. It wasn't the nicest Holiday Inn Express that I have ever been to. The bathroom was a bit rough. The toilet rocked and the shower pressure was sublime. We went to be rather early for us, around 11. At a little bit after 1 am I noticed that it was exceptionally dark in the room but just shrugged my shoulders. I then woke up around 3 am wondering why it was getting hot. I got up to look at the thermostat and that's when I realized we had no power. I again, shrugged my shoulders and went back to sleep. I had set my alarm on my watch (thank goodness) and we were up a little after 6. There was still no power. We got ready the best we could and then went to the stairwell and clambered down the stairs with the rolling suitcases. We were on the 3rd floor. We walked down to the front desk and poor Tabitha was there. You could tell it had been a long night for her. She told us that the power went out around 1. I did ask if we would get a room discount of some sort, but she said she would have to ask her manager. I never heard anything from anyone and that was a week ago tomorrow. We didn't even get to have breakfast or something to drink. I liked the location, very easy access to the interstate.
