"Had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, offering good value for money. The location is convenient, with plenty of food options and shops nearby. The hotel serves a simple yet delicious breakfast. I especially enjoyed the Chinese style dishes. The dining area was also comfortable and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check in was smooth. One minor issue was the room air conditioning was extremely cold and difficult to adjust, so we had to turn it off during our stay. Overall, still a good choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Miri. Would consider staying here again."

"The hotel’s location is very strategic, with plenty of food options and amenities within walking distance, which is a definite advantage. However, the service appears to be impacted by a shortage of staff. During both mornings at breakfast, we experienced long waits for coffee cups, juices, and water to be replenished. Cutlery setup and table clearing were also slow, resulting in guests having to take utensils from other tables or walk to the service station to get napkins, forks, and spoons. We observed similar challenges during the wedding dinner we attended. Basic services such as drink refills were often overlooked and had to be requested multiple times. Overall, while the location is excellent, improvements in staffing and service efficiency would greatly enhance the guest experience."

"Stayed at Emart Hotel (Riam) and overall it was a good experience. The price is reasonable and the rooms are comfortable. The location is excellent, especially if you need to be near the airport. It’s very convenient for short stays in Miri, whether for errands, quick trips, or offshore on and off. There are also many shops and a hypermarket just downstairs, which makes things very convenient. Free parking is provided as well. One small downside is that the bedsheet had some stains, which could be improved. Also, the hotel only provides a 2-in-1 shampoo, so you may want to bring your own toiletries if you have specific preferences. Overall, still a convenient and value-for-money stay."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right above a mall. It's also in the bustling city center. The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming. The room itself is good, too. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn't cold at all. We switched to a second room, and the AC was still just as warm. 🙄"

However, there were a few issues during my stay — two sets of power sockets in the room were not working, and the WiFi connection was quite unstable, with intermittent on-and-off connectivity. I hope these issues can be improved for future guests."

"I stayed at Ano Hotel Miri for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was a lovely experience overall. While the hotel itself is relatively simple, it is well-maintained and comfortable. The location is definitely a big plus — very convenient and close to the city area, with many places within walking distance. It made getting around really easy and enjoyable. A great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay. Would be happy to return again on my next visit!"

"Unfortunately, the shower was not working during our stay and we could only use the bathtub, which was quite dirty. The room also had a strong dusty and damp smell, making it feel uncomfortable. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance could definitely be improved."

"I stayed at City Rise Hotel Miri for the second time and overall it was a pleasant experience. my stay included breakfast. Although the variety of food options was not very extensive, the nasi lemak was surprisingly delicious and definitely a highlight of the meal. The hotel remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay, especially for short visits. I would consider coming back again in the future."

"The room was generally clean and with the amenities you will have to call in to the housekeeping for request. The view from the hotel is so nice that it made me excited to wake up in the morning. Good for families with children as there is enough rooms to go around in the 3 bedroom apartment. Can have more of the cleanliness with some of the items looking old require a change."
