Had an amazing experience at the Guest Lodge in Minot, ND. Room was completely remodeled from head to toe. 50in TV with new mattresses and full fridges and new microwaves. Front desk was super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying their again.

This place isn’t luxury, but it’s affordable and gets the job done. The staff was generally helpful, and I felt safe during my stay. It has its quirks, like any budget spot, but if you’re looking for a no-frills place to rest, it’s a pretty good option, compared to the high prices at the other hotels.

No hot water, bugs in bathroom, main floor window had no screens in it. Not great. Room smelled of cigarettes. I guess I get what I pay for.

The entire property - including the room smelled heavily of cigarettes and bleach. The room was dirty; floors unswept, hair in the bed, mirror and sink not wiped down, and fan caked in dust. The occupant in the room next to us was LOUD all night long - talking and laughing with people in the hallway and room, listening to loud music, and has 3 large dogs in the room that bark often. The bedsheets and comforter were also sloppily made and didn’t fit the king size bed. The staff was friendly but didn’t seem interested in helping occupants or able to offer much information.
Was a bed to sleep in but will it recommend. Or stay again.

Don’t recommend
Gave away our building reservation and then tried to move us to a different building up the road. The building was in terrible condition. Smelled , drywall dust everywhere, homeless people , door handles missing. Asked for a refund and didn’t stay at the hotel. We drove home instead.

Arrival was very accommodating by the front desk with regards to putting us in rooms close together, etc. The rooms were very clean and as they are modifying and upgrading, whatever wasn’t in our rooms that we requested, was promptly brought to us. We appreciated the upgrades that they are striving towards.

This was the worst hotel I have ever walked into. We walked into the room and turned around and walked out. Went and got another hotel for the night.

Had two rooms. Told they clean...thet were not. Barhrooms in both rooms were dirty....hair in tub and on the floor..sink dirty. Toilets hadn't been cleaned... The bed in the one room didn't have the sheets changed from last occupant... on the one bathroom door ...hole in the door but no door knob.... was not impressed with our stay....would not return....
