Cheaping out on breakfast. Went to Microtel because it was a good place with a great breakfast. NOT NO MORE. NO chocolate milk, scrambled eggs, potatoes, meat.... just cheap machine pancakes and oatmeal in a bag. Will not automatically stay here anymore.

Booked it because it had a hot tub and was closed. Our keys didn’t work most of the time. Our fridge was set to 1 and everything froze. Our Diet Coke exploded.

Needs a lot of updating. Pool is closed and looks like reading reviews it has been for a while. Cleaning and inspections of the room are definitely needed. First room I was in had dirty sheets. Also the breakfast was the most basic continental I’ve ever seen. Milk, cereal, apple or banana, coffee or a danish is your options. Could’ve thrown in some muffins or something. They have a pancake machine out but nothing to make any with which I thought was odd. The cereal is in a dispenser and there’s 3 choices.

The rooms are always clean and bedding is comfortable. Hot tub is always clean and no hairs or debris. The bathroom is clean and towels are not worn. Room has no odors and smells clean. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The coffee in the lobby delicious and always hot.

The room i stayed in out of 2 beds one had been urinated on by a previous person. And covered up with clean bedding. Would not recommend and this is not my first time staying with them. Don't plan on staying there again next time im in area for work.

To improve the guest experience, the hotel should consider augmenting its professional staff. Furthermore, addressing the issue of a slight odor in the rooms is recommended.

Everything was great except therevwas really no breakfast. Pancake machine didnt work the juice machine didn't work. Just some danishes and muffins

Afternoon staff didn’t care about her job. She actually utter under her breath she hated her job. She also told us if we had any problems to wait until after 11 pm to report them because she would be gone. She also gave me the wrong room ( single bed instead of 2 beds) she told me it was because the staff didn’t clean enough rooms.. will not stay there again!!!

At check-in, the first thing the clerk said to me was "whatever it is that you want, the answer is no." She thought it was very funny, then called me honey for the remainder of our conversation.
After we checked in, we ended up canceling our reservation after one minute in our room which wreaked of mold and mildew. The person at the desk was good about the cancellation.
