For any Yuru Camp anime fans, if you also are interested in an Onsen experience this is the perfect place. The facilities and staff are amazing! I couldn't believe the size of my room, especially after coming from a business hotel in Tokyo. I thought Deluxe Twin was just the ”deluxe” version of a standard single twin size bed room instead of two twin beds but there are no complaints.
Given it's more remote location I was expecting zero English but I was so surprised at how well some of the staff spoke English and had print outs for English speakers. I have to shout out two staff members, Nozomi and Joon Bae's english combined with my limited and grammatically atrocious Japanese they went above and beyond making me understand how everything worked as well as assisting me with my ventures outside of the onsen. They have two e-bikes available for rent which I rode to the next station on the minobu line so I could visit the school that was used in the anime as well as get a taxi to take me to Lake Shibere, from episodes 6 and 7 of season one.
It was my first time in Japan, being the only foreigner at the hotel for the two full days, I only visited the baths once however the facilities are amazing and I plan on going back to use the Onsen more.
It is quite an old hotel, but nature around is excellent! I have experienced some inconvenience because the showers and toilets are common on the floor, but it is inherent to all classic Japanese hotels. Anyway, the hosts were very kind and hospitality. And dinner and breakfast is above all praise! Just amazing

There were many foreign guests, and I felt that they were making an effort to promote Japanese culture. You can enjoy the view of the garden from the bath and dining room. We changed the check-in schedule from the beginning, but they readily agreed to it. During breakfast, I was fascinated by the peaceful swimming of Nishikigoi in the pond. Participating in the morning shift is thrilling on the dark streets at night. I had to give up on the summit of Mt. Minobu this time because I couldn't see the sign and took the wrong route, and it was cold and rainy, and visibility was poor, but it was a good opportunity to refresh myself. thank you
Hotel service is very good, very warm and thoughtful, first-class service, breakfast is not bad, is the surrounding traffic is relatively lacking, go out to the place you want to go, others are very good!
Due to heavy snow, the road was blocked and self-driving vehicles could not reach Motosuko Hotel.
I called the hotel staff through the trip.com phone number. Although their English skills were a little lacking, the hotel staff was very patient and listened attentively. Finally, find a colleague who can speak English to explain clearly. Knowing the reason for cancellation is always better than not showing up without knowing the reason. Although the full amount cannot be recovered, safety is more important than anything else.
A good ryokan with onsen. Good service, spacious room with traditional Japanese futoras instead of a bed, varied breakfast and excellent onsen - both public and private.
Of the minuses - location (50 minutes by bus from Kawaguchiko, which runs very rarely) and the lack of a cooler with cold/hot water (but this is more due to the traditional nature of the hotel).
It's a pity that we were unlucky with the weather - it rained both in the evening and in the morning, Fuji was not visible. Otherwise, everything is fine.
