The room is large, and the ventilation system is good. The host is very helpful and will tell you how to access to the building step by step by phone call. You can also contact her via WhatsApp. Overall it’s good with its location, as it’s located in the city center with a walkable distance to restaurants and train station.
However, if you afraid of hot, the room isn’t suitable for you as they don’t have AC. But two fans are in the room which is also ok for us as it’s windy.
It’s a shared bathroom apartment, but overall the bathroom is clean because two rooms share one bathroom which is also okay. They will clean the bathroom every morning so overall it’s not bad!

Не могу назвать это отелем, это комнаты в обыкновенном доме. Очень долго искала. Навигатор показывает, что где-то в этом доме, но никакой крупной вывески нигде нет. Помогли случайные люди, обошли дом со мной ещё раз и сбоку одной из дверей обнаружили мелкую надпись с кодовым замком... Комната чистая, ремонт современный, имеется кофемашина, кровать не односпальная, как написано в бронировании, а большая двуспальная.

We had that view of the piazza, it was amazing, but it was 6 floors up. no elevator. no problem for me, but my elderly mom had trouble getting up there

Lovely central venue
We were in a very central location & the service was exceptional. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it has stairs to manage

Worth a visit
We only spent 1 night in Messina and it was quite difficult to find this apartment but once we were in it was great - lovely balcony over the square and easy walk to the station
