Terrible experience. When we got to the room there was hair all around the bathroom as if someone had just shaved there. Along with mosquitoes that had been squashed into the wall and left. In the morning we were woken up by loud drilling which caused the room to shake and continued until after we left at around 10 am. It was not possible to stay in the room as the noise was ridiculously loud. This also happened on the second day of our stay as well and likely continued after we left. Additionally the paint on all the walls was scratched and the plug socket came out of the wall when we unplugged are chargers. The breakfast was also not very nice. When we applied for a refund we were denied even with video and photographic evidence. I would not recommend this hotel at all and I also would not recommend Trip as they were very unhelpful when it came to helping me get a refund and constantly asked me to wait until a certain time and then never replied at this time and I had to constantly chase them up on things.

Unexpected surprise.
The boutique hotel it’s located in the center of the city and the rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. The building is a classic Italian historical building with high ceilings and decorations. I must say was a nice experience. Breakfast it’s topical Italian with some intercontinental options.

Ok stay ok value
The rooms are okay and it's good value for the money you pay. But it's looks much nicer on the website, than in reality and I think it needs an upgrade.
Breakfast ok, but half of the things at the buffet disappeared and the staff didn't fill it up.. So a little disappointment.

We only stayed one night, but we truly wish we had booked another! This hotel was absolutely charming from the moment we arrived. Christian at the front desk was fantastic—he confirmed our arrival via WhatsApp and even helped us secure a dinner reservation, which made everything feel so easy and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and full of character, with a surprisingly large and immaculate bathroom. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the sunny side up eggs were cooked to perfection—a small detail that made a big difference. All in all, a delightful stay. If we ever find ourselves back in Messina, we’ll definitely be booking here again.

Very beautiful building with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty with many choices. The staff was very personable.
There was some construction going on in the building which disrupted my husband's sleep about 9 AM.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Initially very good impressions. Nice spacious room, well appointed, clean, nice bed linen. Staff were friendly
However the noise levels in the hotel were terrible. You could hear everything from next door, outside etc. Sadly due to that we didn't have a good night and would certainly urge people to pack ear plugs
