The location is good! Walking distance to nearby eatery and Mersing bus terminal, and jetty. Even free transport to jetty. But the toilet have foul smell when enter and the bed is dirty with 1-2 bugs

Mersing Hotel is at the core location of Mersing Town, which makes it stand out from others. Cleanliness vise, it’s not well cleaned and maintained. It has free transport to Mersing Pier to Tioman Island.

Good location for ferry

The pillow is dirty. Not comfortable for sleeping. Noisy

The room is very basic but it's all you need if you are staying one night for the ferry to Tioman. The jetty is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are a number of restaurants close by.

Not far from bus terminal and from the ferry terminal. Average rooms with AC, TV with a couple of channels. Complimentary taxi to ferry. The room was clean enough and only stayed one night while waiting for ferry to Tioman.

I love that place

The hotel is, of course, poor, but the staff is caring. We were met at lunchtime at the pier and brought to the hotel. At 24 o'clock we had to leave by bus to another city. We were taken to the bus station. The transfer is free. You can also walk to the bus station and to the pier. It's about 10 minutes. We did not sleep in the room, we only left our things to walk around the city. Wi-Fi is provided. You can't call the stay at the hotel pleasant.

Finally I understand why so many people would rather take a five-hour car ride and then transfer to the boat to get to the island... Originally I thought that I would rest for one night before taking the boat if I didn't rush the trip, and I didn't have any requirements for the hotel since it was only one night. I was stunned when I entered. It was worse than the hotels in the villages in China... It must have not been cleaned for a long time... At night, there was a car passing by downstairs all night and several households didn't sleep. Then I looked around and found that all the hotels in this port were like this. Next time I really want to go to Tioman Island, I will just take the bus and boat...

A good option for an overnight stay while waiting for the ferry

Hahaha, at least there is a bed to sleep in for one night. If it is not for Tioman Island, who would stay in Mersing for fun? The front desk *** has no sense of service, and there is some racial discrimination in her speech. She was really difficult and asked me to change the room. I don't know how to say the bad smell in English, but I did it. According to the previous communication with *** on the island, she couldn't have not understood. She really asked me to tell her what was wrong with the room and why I had to change it. The service was very poor. The room had a smell that had not been lived in for more than three years, or that of empty-nesters who had lived there for decades. In island cities, it is inevitable that there are bugs everywhere in the room, and the bed, quilt, and bathroom are not spared. The decoration and furniture are like the rooms of Chinese old people seventy years ago, and the smell is the same. One door with four locks is scary. The room faces the road and the sound insulation is negative. It seems like living in a speaker. The motorcycles didn't stop until 04:00am, which was so fast that my brain exploded. But fortunately, it is still safe, and there were no extraordinary incidents or **haha

The hotel is conveniently located. Not far from the pier on Tioman. The hotel helped us arrange ferry tickets there and back. They took me to the pier by car. The room itself is small, but everything is there.
