The location is very good, especially we went to day tour and the pick up point is very close to the hotel. The room was a bit small, and surprising there is no locking chain, how can a hotel room door without locking chain. The bed mattress was broken and we asked to change the room. This hotel reception is close after 11pm .

This was a really bad and frustrating stay.
First, there was a major issue with the shower. The showerhead was faulty and wouldn't stay in place. It actually fell and hit me while I was showering, which is a serious safety hazard. The bathroom design was also poor, as water would constantly overflow from the shower, making the whole floor wet and slippery.
When I reported this to the front desk, their attitude was incredibly dismissive, basically acting like it wasn't their problem. When I mentioned the showerhead hit me, they even accused me of lying and offered no real help.
What's even crazier is that because a blanket got damp from their leaky shower, they first told me to pay a 20 AUD deposit, but the next day, the charge inexplicably jumped to 100 AUD. I'm being forced to pay an unreasonable fee for damage that was caused by their own faulty facilities.
Overall, from the room's facilities to the staff's service and the questionable charges, the experience was a huge disappointment. I strongly advise against staying here.

Our housekeeping team services rooms daily, and part of their routine includes checking all fixtures and reporting any maintenance needs. No issues were reported with the shower or its fittings during the entire stay. If the showerhead had been loose or hazardous, our team would have immediately flagged it and ensured it was repaired before the room was reallocated.It was only on the final day of the guest’s stay that our housekeeping team discovered the room’s carpet was completely soaked with water. This appeared to be due to the shower door being left open or used improperly, resulting in excessive water overflow. There was no indication of any mechanical or plumbing fault at that time, and all room amenities, including the shower fixtures, were found to be intact and functional.Upon discovering the flooded carpet, our front office team attempted to contact the guest to address the matter, but received no response. Eventually, after reaching out through the guest's booking platform (C-Trip), the guest visited the reception. Rather than collaborating to resolve the situation, the guest behaved rudely toward our staff and made accusations about faulty facilities, which had not been raised during their stay.As a result of the extensive water damage, the room required professional cleaning and drying, rendering it unavailable for booking for over a week. The $100 charge applied was part of the standard deposit hold, used to cover the cost of additional cleaning and maintenance caused by the incident not a penalty, but a necessary action to restore the room for future guests.We are committed to transparency and guest satisfaction, and we deeply regret that unfortunately guest left with a negative impression. However, we must also stand by our team, who followed all protocol professionally and respectfully, and by the standards we maintain for room safety, cleanliness, and communication.We encourage all guests to report any issues during their stay so we can take immediate action. Room was clean. A minor gripe is that there is no chain attached to the door for extra safety. I understand that the doors are double locked, however the chain is standard across all hotels and this is the first time I've seen it removed with the reason being that all chains have been removed since covid? Otherwise a very comfortable stay. Location is very convenient with a tram stop right outside.

The hotel location was perfect. Close to all the city center attractions and just right next to Victoria market. The hotel facilities are acceptable and clean. Just inside the room and hallways are a bit too dark for me at night.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience. The room was just as shown in the pictures – spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The small kitchenette was a nice touch and made it convenient for light meals. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which made for a peaceful stay, yet it’s close to many restaurants, so dining options are plentiful.
One downside, though, was the bathroom – the cleanliness of the walls could be improved, especially in the shower area. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall comfort and quality of the room.
The hotel is easy to reach, and I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable, peaceful stay with great access to local dining spots.

Location is good to access to public transport.
Close to queen Victoria market and aldi supermarket
Everyday has housekeeping to clean the room and replace the fresh towel.
Sound proof was not good as I can still hear someone running on the floor in the midnight and talking next to the room.
If you are light sleeper definitely will be awake by midnight with the poor soundproof
Other than that the hotel is good and I enjoy my entire stay

Facilities was alright but the light is a bit dimmer in the shower room. The reception is not 24/7 which it is only operate until 11pm. It will be overwhelming for late night arrival especially night flight or flight delayed.
