"It is a very nice hotel. Beautiful inside and out. Great location - right on the main square and about 20 meters from the Gondola to lift up for skiing, all the shopping was right there. All the amazing restaurants we’ve been to were maximum 5 minutes away walking. I give the hotel i5 stars, we had a wonderful time. The staff, I see a lot of people note that, and I agree- makes a big difference. They all seem very genuine, caring and very friendly. From the reception to the valet guys, to waiters and cleaning staff- they all behave like it is their mission to make your stay a pleasant one. It is like the hotel is owned by every one of the people who work there. The lobby and the rooms are charming and nicely appointed. The ski room is very convenient, lockers are big enough for two pairs of skis and poles and helmets. The breakfast was nice, a little more variety of food would’ve been good, but as is you can’t complain. The rooms are comfy, not too big of course, but sufficient for the price. The restaurant was good too, simple local cuisine but of high quality. The valet car parking is very good, guys are very helpful and stay ready. All you can ask for is for staff to give their best and honestly try to do the best they can and they do. I have stayed in many skiing vacation chalet hotels in the last few years, most were nice, but I couldn’t really force myself to write about them, as they didn’t inspire. This one did. Hotel Mont Blanc Megeve is an advertisement of the French alps, French hospitality and class. If I had to be picky, I would say that the spa could’ve been better, but I guess- they simply don’t have space to make pool bigger, put a steam room some place… but even that little spa- was good- clean and relaxing after a day of skiing. I feel like the owners are very good people, who care and who know how this business works, they do a very good job. Thank you for your service and all the best wishes."

"My wife and I had a very comfortable room which was kept very hot. We had to open the window at times to cool down. The breakfast were great and you could order scrambled eggs at no extra cost. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The dinners were terrific and the quality of wines was very high particularly the lower priced Savoyards. Both head waiters were great fun and we came to acknowledge them as if they were old friends! There was a sauna abs spa centre downstairs. I used the sauna on 3 occasions and it was quite private. The owner appeared to be English but as he never had a conversation with us we wouldn't know. The reception ladies were very pleasant. The only criticism was that while there was a board on the bar advertising Via Chaud they only had this available on one afternoon during our 6 days stay. The Hotel is about 250 metres from the Telecabine station and it is an easy walk with skis which were kept in an outside heated cabin."

"Very cute hotel and really good value for megeve. The rooms were nice with a good view from the balcony however the rooms and hallways are soooooo dark! Even with all of the lights on it was dark. We met another couple staying there and they noticed the same thing. The location is out of town (1ish km up a steep hill) and whilst they offer shuttles to town from 7am - 11pm and to the mountain from 9am - 6pm we waited ages! We even found that drivers would drive past us cause they were full.. then come back and let other people in the car before us even though they’d verbally acknowledge they saw us 30 minutes ago .. so they were full again so at times we were waiting up to 1 hour.. it got to the point we ended up getting the free shuttle into town just to ensure we weren’t stuck at the mountain. The dry room has lockers in it .. but we weren’t given a key for our room however it’s just a cupboard to store your equipment in so don’t think it would actually benefit the drying aspect. Overall I would stay here again as it’s cheap but I’d potentially bring a torch and use the free town shuttle bus more or hire a car."

The rustic and charming atmosphere of the hotel immediately put us at ease, and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. In addition, the location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to the ski lifts. I highly recommend this property!"
