Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

We have just returned after a week at Sheraton and miss it already. We were returning customers as we stayed there May last year. We were treated so well as returning customers with many perks such as Cava, Chocolates and complimentary use of the Spa. I did ask to be in similar room vicinity as last year and my wish was granted. Location of room 463 was perfect for our stay. The hotel is perfect, we love the food, love the entertainment, love the room, love the pool, and the staff can't do enough for you. We had manicures done with Sonia in the Spa and she treated us like royalty. We were b&b but upgraded to half board on arrival which was well worth the money. The addition of the kids station for food was a brilliant addition for my fussy eater. There are plenty of sunbeds at the pool but did find some people were reserving in the morning. That said we never had a problem finding a sunbed when we went to the pool around 9am but may have struggled after 10am. It was school holidays though so was expecting that. The pool team are brilliant, the entertainment in the pool yoga, Zumba, weights and ball games were excellent. Can't fault the Sheraton Hotel and their staff. It is managed so well we absolutely love it there and we will definitely be returning again next year. Thank you for a fantastic holiday Sheraton!

Family of 5, including 3 teenagers. Nice rooms with balcony and nice view. Half board plus was not worth the extra cost vs regular half board. No drinks provided free - not even water by the pool. All drinks unbelievably expensive. Fortunately there is a supermarket a 10 minute walk away. Service was especially poor with staff being rude, unhelpful, and unaccommodating. The property has incredible potential given the facilities but policy and staffing choices negate any benefits. There is not even close to 5 star. 4 at a stretch / on a good day.

This is not a five star hotel. Not even close. I will not visit another Sheraton again. Whilst the rooms were a good size, the proximity to the piano bar due to the U shape of the hotel means you are being serenaded each night until at least 11.30pm - not ideal with children. By the pool is not much better with music being blasted from a loud speaker for activities from noon, it definitely gave more 2/3 star Malaga vibes and not the Lux, high end that we paid for. If you are booking half board, lunch is not a switchable option (?) must be breakfast and evening meal. Overall, Food is mediocre at best and hygiene in the buffet leaves a lot to be desired (flys on the food waiting to be served, cross contamination of self service items). The Wok and Zen restaurant is disgusting, the sushi and fish were tough, I dread to think how long this could have been sat pre made in a fridge given the other hygiene issues. Staff service is poor to middling overall. With the exception of one waitress, no one smiles/is helpful etc. ie twice when getting a drink we were asked to wait for over 5 minutes whilst a conversation took place, this also happened at reception desk during check in and check out. Secondly on some days we would have a tapas selection with our drinks provided and other days this was not provided? It seems entirely dependent on the staff present on that day. Re: Jet2 half board plus booking option. This does not include water or soft drinks with evening meal which understandably adds up over the course of a week. Water is not even replaced in the room daily? We phoned down to reception to ask for them to clarify on this booking option. We were told ‘we will get back to you’ on the second day and heard nothing. We asked about again on the fourth day and were told they did not know and a manager would be in touch. No further comments were given. For a family of 5 we have paid over £6500 total to stay here in the school holidays, the quality for that amount of money is not comparable as discussed above. As an example, last summer we stayed in menorca in mid August for the same quality of food and comfort for £2500 (not labeled as a 5 star) ? I cannot understand the disparity in the prices or what we have actually paid for?
