Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

The Sheraton was absolutely fabulous. I have stayed in many Sheraton properties, and the staff here was the best. They remembered our names and had positive attitudes throughout our stay. Everyone said hello to us --even the housekeeping staff stopped what they were doing to smile and make eye-contact. Tom Denis seemed to be ever present making sure everything was top notch condition. There was a small kitchen fire during dinner while we were there, and my husband and I were so impressed at the staffs' quick and effective communication with the hotel guests. The managers adjusted the dinner schedule, relocated the guests, and had everyone served outside by the pool in record-breaking time. The staff knew their jobs and - again - maintained positive attitudes and a professional demeanor throughout what I am sure was a stressful circumstance for them. What was even more impressive was watching the managerial staff step-in to serve alongside the others. There was no task beneath anyone. It was team work. On our first day David met us with a smile and treated us like royalty. We had an issue with our first room and Luis didn't hesitate in relocating us to a beautiful ocean view room that was better than the first one we had. My kids loved the kids club. Olga and Alex remembered their names each day. My kids had so much fun that when I asked if they wanted to tour the rest of the island, they told me they preferred to remain at the Sheraton so they would not miss kids club. Kids club was great because my husband and I knew our children were safe while we snuck off to have a massage. The spa was lovely. My husband enjoyed his experience so much, he went back the next day. I had been a bit concerned about what to expect prior to our visits based on all the reviews on TripAdvisor. There are a few cosmetic issues, but the grounds were stunning, the property was immaculate, the service was excellent, and the warmth exuded by everyone was incomparable. This was our family's first trip to the Canary Islands, and already our kids are asking when we can return. A big thank you to everyone at the Sheraton for giving us a memorable vacation.

We loved this hotel and would definitely return. Lovely location right on beachfront. Room was spacious, clean and had everything you could want. Breakfast and dinner were great. Chefs remembered how we liked our food cooked and the range was really good. There was definitely something for everyone. Special thanks to Aziz our waiter for being so friendly and David on reception for being really helpful too. The whole team work really hard and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

10 night stay which overall we enjoyed. The staff are generally wonderful and they are what makes the hotel. This could be a really excellent hotel with the team they have. It's in a good location with easy access to the sea and local facilities. However, it's very tired and long overdue a refurb. This includes the spa which costs extra but not all facilities were working during our stay. The buffet is ok but certainly not 5*. The 2 restaurants on site give you a change but again lack choice and consistency. Marriott need to invest and quickly, because if they lose the team who are the heart of the hotel it won't be worth visiting.

We have just returned from staying half board at the Sheraton Fuertentura Beach, Golf & Spa and had a wonderful stay. it was our first time staying here and after reading the bad reviews, I had to write to say we couldn’t have had a better holiday! From the moment we arrived into the hotel, a porter came up to greet and welcome us and took our suitcases. We then had a very friendly welcome and efficient Check-In by Carlos at Reception. He was also very helpful on our check-out with getting us a taxi on time. Amazing customer service! We had a junior suite which was lovely. Very spacious, separate dressing room, jacuzzi bath, huge comfortable bed and large patio with great views. The food choice for breakfast and evening meal was excellent and the food was delicious, with very attentive waiting staff. The pool area was well managed and very clean. The whole hotel was immaculate and our cleaner for our room was very friendly, we always had fresh towels and had everything topped up on a daily basis. All the staff were super friendly and very welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for better staff or a better hotel in Fuerteventura! We will definitely be back :)

We have been visiting the Sheraton for a number of years now and think it’s an amazing hotel in an amazing location and the staff are all wonderful BUT it now needs some money spending on what was a luxurious hotel ! The rooms are becoming dated and dingy and although Marriot hotels are renowned for their comfy beds this hotels beds are THE worst Marriott beds we have even slept on! The carpets on the landings are now threadbare ! The public areas and gardens are prestine and the pools are heaven but the sun loungers are dreadful now and need replacing
