It seems that there are no Chinese reviews yet, so I will give a truthful review. I stayed in three hotels in Mauritius this time, Oberoi, Four Seasons, and JW Marriott. The prices were similar, but Oberoi was the most disappointing and the worst. The parent-child facilities were non-existent, the children's playground was dirty and messy, and the hotel closed at 4pm. There were no parent-child activities, and the rooms did not even provide children's bathrobes. Later, I moved to Four Seasons and JW Marriott, where the parent-child activities in the children's playground were from morning to night, which was really touching. If you take your children to Mauritius, you must avoid Oberoi.

The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius. The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner. The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs. The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊. Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests. Well done Oberoi Team⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My third visit to the Oberoi since 2008 and all hopes were completely exceeded. As part of a package with Emirates I was at another hotel on the island which was not a good fit for me. I don’t want to go into that at all other than to say that flying with Emirates has always been excellent and I would always fly with them even via Dubai, but I decided to pick up the phone to get myself transferred to the Oberoi and from the outset Aditya Vikram Pandey‘s team stepped up to assist me make a smooth transfer. Upon arrival the welcome was like a homecoming with Natasha and her team waiting for me with a cool towel lovely refreshing drink and a warm smile after my hour long taxi ride. I felt a sense of immediate relief knowing I’d made the right decision. The Oberoi is a magical place. The gardens are of Babylonian beauty tended to and maintained so immaculately the team looking after the gardens need a special mention. The beautifully thatched houses make the most fantastic rooms spacious high ceilings fabulous beds and sofas ..well stocked with coffee and tea water and milk all replaced daily and sometimes twice daily. It’s a heavenly place to stay for the beauty of the living space alone. For a frequent solo traveller like me, one of the challenges can be that you lack company during your stay but that isn’t an issue here at the Oberoi. Every single member of the team here are the most friendly charming helpful lovely people you could hope to meet. Honestly I will miss them all. They have been so delightful to me so welcoming and friendly as I leave here tonight it’s the people here I will miss the most. Usually I would name special people as stand out. I simply can’t distinguish as every single person here is exceptional. The Oberoi have created a gem of a place for discerning travellers to stay.It is simply faultless from my perspective. Now to the food. Just WOW….. just heavenly just delicious and perfectly cooked. Chef Deepak creates the most sensational dishes that have made such an impact on me. A journey through the best Indian cuisine cooked to perfection, presented with love and attention to detail. It’s been outstanding for me. I can’t say thank you enough to the catering team … the team in the restaurant are like friends to me now. The breakfast Dosa are so wonderful I’m going to try to make them when I get home. It’s hard for any business to create a proposition that delights their clientele, but to me .. this hotel has smashed that out of the ball park. To top it off … my last night here before a very sad departure the housekeeping team had prepared a beautiful rose petal bath with candles and scents .. just such a kind touch and a blissful night time experience. A little goodbye card so thoughtfully written with such lovely words that are so sincere and so appreciated. In a world where hotels often commoditise and manufacture a guest experience … the Oberoi transcends this by giving a piece of themselves and a lot of joy to thei

We had a family short break, 4 nights, at the Oberoi. It was truly wonderful. All of the hotel facilities were great. The staff, all of them, are fantastic. We live in Abu Dhabi and wanted a tropical holiday with great wildlife, plenty of lush greenery, a little bit of rain and a great hotel. The Oberoi ticked all the boxes.

We have just returned from a trip to Mauritius where we stayed at the Oberoi once again. We stayed there two years ago and promised ourselves that we would return as soon as possible. This visit didn’t disappoint! On arrival, we were fortunate to be upgraded to a villa with a private pool which was lovely and set the scene for a wonderful stay. The layout of the villas is very similar to that of the garden/sea view pavilions with the addition of a private garden and pool with an outdoor eating area. The housekeeping team were great and nothing was too much trouble. At the beginning of the stay, we asked for ice to be put in the room each day and to have mosquito coils outside on the patio. They were there each day without fail. My wife and I are both fans of international food and knowing the breadth of food on offer at the resort we had booked on a half board basis this visit to take advantage of the skill and experience of the chefs and broader F&B team. As on our previous visit everything was exceptional but we particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood at "On the Rocks” and the Indian and Mauritian cuisine. We must also give a special mention to Chef's Singh's. On our last visit we spoke extensively with him about his interest in ayuverdic food and medicine and we were especially grateful to be able to thank him for his advice and suggestions. During our stay the resort was at max. 40% occupancy which meant that it felt as if it was our own private idyll. The team at the family pool attended to our every need, bringing cold water regularly (and the occasional treat) and often we were the only people there during the day. There is also an adult pool, a small beach and a bigger beach along the seafront, so there is plenty of space for all. Finally, Natacha and Amanda from the Front Office team were always on hand to make sure that all was well and that we had everything we could possibly want during our stay. The Oberoi is a wonderful resort and is staffed by a phenomenal team, all of whom are unfailingly helpful, polite and a credit to the resort and to the wider Oberoi organisation. We look forward to returning as soon as possible!

A wonderful spot for the first leg of our honeymoon! Excellent 5 star service and our bungalow was well-appointed and so comfortable! Favorite parts were the snorkel excursion you could take any day, the spa massage experience, the Gunpowder restaurant dinner experience, and the bar and beach food and service.
