Everything is good about this hotel. Breakfast is the best in my two weeks Italy trip. Just one suggestion: please ask for a shuttle at the parking if you drive to Matera. Otherwise it is hard to walk there with luggage and you will easily lost in similar small roads.

숙소도 넓고 깔끔하고 특이해요~ 일단 뷰도 좋고 욕실도 넓고. 조식도 가지수는 많지는 않지만 맛있습니다. 공용 테라스 뷰도 좋아요~ 가격 대비 좋은 숙소 입니다.

Staying at Fra Sassi was truly one of the most beautiful memories of my life. The entire team was absolutely outstanding; warm, gracious, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to help me plan a very special moment, "my proposal"! The apartment itself was breathtaking: carved into the cave with such refined design, every detail felt intentional and full of soul. The bathtub, the textures, the lighting, the furniture ... everything was simply perfect. And the private terrace with its panoramic view of the cathedral… it was pure magic, especially at sunrise and sunset. Thank you to the whole Fra Sassi team for your care, warmth, and incredible hospitality. You didn’t just host us, you made us feel part of something unforgettable ♥♥

From the room terrace, the view of the Sassi is unbeatable. It's just a short walk away. The room, built into a building excavated into the rock, with high domed roof, was spacious, airy and stylish, with a modern bathroom and old wooden furniture and wooden flooring. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast in the capacious dining room was good, if not outstanding.

Wonderful stay at Fra I Sassi . The reception was warm and welcoming . The view from our comfortable cave bedroom could not have been more magnificent . The location was perfect for exploring this magical city . Breakfast was excellent. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly, it was a simply amazing stay.
