Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge

What a great location and offer. All inclusive. Personalised. Passionate. The team here do their best to make your every need simple and an ‘of course’ we can. They made out stay so great.

We received a friendly welcome from Johan and were shown to our room with views overlooking the crocodile river. The room itself was on the tired side, but it was clean and the large double bed was very extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, the pressure was fabulous and we had constant hot water. It was rather nice standing under the shower overlooking the river.. similarly sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee late afternoon and soaking up the sun whilst animal spotting... all very relaxing. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - thank you all! We enjoyed our stay

One word : super ! Very beautifull and cozy lodge. Super clean, good beds, food fresh and delicious, friendly staff … our 4 year old was welcome and enjoyed his stay as well ! We did 2 private safari tours organised by the hotel and saw plenty off animals ! The gate is 25 minutes from Kruger, for us that was not a problem. The view from the hotel is just waw. Listen to the roaring hippos at night, we love it !

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful lodge. From our arrival to the check in we received an excellent service. Unfortunately, due to one of our guest being disabled we had to ask for a room with an accessible bathroom which meant that staff had to rearrange all weeks bookings to accommodate us which was done with no issues. The accommodation was prepared within an hour which was really helpful and really made a big difference in our stay. The food was cooked to order and was always fresh, staff were attentive, friendly, kind and always made sure we had everything we wanted, rooms and all of the surrounding areas (including pool) were cleaned daily. I would advise to have breakfast included with you booking as it was SO FRESH and TASTY, all cooked to order and served with smile :) We also had dinner on the first night of our arrival and it was really lovely. If you like cocktails I would advise their mojito - I have never tasted anything like this in my life. I would say that the lodge is difficult to access for disabled customers so if you have any mobility issues contact the lodge before you make your booking to avoid any disappointment. Game drives - don't waste your money on safari if you travel with your own transport. It was a killer 4.30 start and unfortunately we did not enjoy it as much as we did when going in our own car. We also travelled later and saw way more than at 5am. Otherwise, you will have a wonderful stay in the most perfect location :)
