I contacted the property asking to cancel the booking and a refund if they managed to rebook the rooms (as I booked on a no cancellation booking). They replied to say they would not, and would I no longer be attending? I appreciate it was not their fault, but if they could have rebooked the rooms, and not been out of pocket, was it too much to ask for a refund, with 1 months notice? Times are hard enough without people profiteering out of other’s misfortune."
