Best Melaka Hotels

Positive side: There's electric jug provided, even though no tea/coffee sachet there. TV functions well. Three mirrors including one in the bathroom. There's a wardrobe but not enough space to hang the towels. Got air conditioner n fan. Negative side: The room was quite small for triple. The double and single bed were combined together😔. The toilet was dirty especially the toilet bowl, there were stains everywhere ☹️. Only two lamps in the room without bed lamp, one switch for them. No lift... Luckily our room is only on the second floor.

1. The bed sheets and blankets have red colour watermark！ When we inform the worker they just simply said that all the bed sheets and blankets are the same and pass you a white colour cover and they refuse to change a new bed sheets a d blankets for you! 2. The wifi connection is bad ! 3. The air conditioner is not functioning! When you identify the problem to the workers, they just put you to wait one hour at the mid night to test the air conditioner before they change the room for you! 4. Early morning keep knocking your door and wake you up just to take a remote control from your room! 5. The Indian receptionist who work and night shift talk with glasses super unfriendly and provide horrible service! After all this incident they never say “Sorry” at all! Cleanliness, facilities comfort and staff this four items shall not score more than one !

cute budget hotel. Was here to celebrate my wife birthday. We love the ambiance and the hotel hospitality. The hotel was in Jonker road. Just walk around the road and can reach back to hotel when we tired. The only drawbacks is the parking is a lil bit far around 800m from hotel. The breakfast is basic, but we don't care as there are other food that we can enjoy. Overall experience we would love to visit the place again

This place is definitely not a 3 star hotel and should be downgraded to a 1 star. Staff at reception seem like they do not want to be there and come across quite rude at check in time. The lifts are small so lucky there were not many people staying here otherwise there would have been long wait times. Corridors leading to the rooms are open air (not really an issue) except there are quite a few leaks when it rains and the staff just put buckets under the leaks instead of fixing them. The worst thing about this place is the rooms. Tiny is an understatement. You can barely walk in the room. It is not really clean and very dated. Good luck trying to fit in the shower if you are a bigger person. Not only is the bathroom small but if you want to have a shower and you're a larger person it is extremely difficult as the door barely opens half way and you have to all but become an Olympic gymnast. Once you make it into the shower if you would like to have hot water you would have needed to get a degree to figure how the system works. Trying to sleep is impossible especially if you are in a room by the main road on a weekend. You can hear every little bit of street noise (don't know why they even bother having windows) and then the fireworks go off in the early hours of the morning (2 - 3am) - granted this is not really the hotels fault. The air-conditioning barely works and is probably older than my grand mother and due to the outdoor units being placed near the dumpsters you get the refreshing smell of trash. In summary do not book this place even if it your last resort. You're better off sleeping on the street. 2 rooms for 2 nights cost us NZ$349 (MYR 943.11) which would have been much better spent doing something else. Just my opinion but choose somewhere else.... anywhere else!!

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

Location is about 15mins drive away from Jonker Walk. Room and facilities were great, however Service could be better. We ordered room service however took 45mins to come despite multiple calls/reminder to the concierge. We were also not able to get a late checkout which was disappointing, despite being a Hilton Honor Gold member.

This is my second time to stay in this hotel, after a few year after I still choosing this hotel. So far everything still good for me just having some unpleasant experience need to feedback. Firstly, I’m booking this hotel room with 2 single bed, but after check at the counter they only can provide me one king-bed, I staying with my sister I tell that we want seperate bed room, at the end they give add in one additional portable bed in my room. So that I only can let me sister using the king size bed and I’m tall and big size guy using the portable bed for 2 night and make me very uncomfortable. Second, the hotel room like a signal blocking zone, our mobile phone 5g own data like very weak signal to receive in there, and the hotel WiFi provided by was more funny, some time appear some time disappear. Third. the room should doing some maintenance, some corner the wood is chip, in the bathroom the shower hanger is damage and the shower very dirty of water mark, please do a proper cleaning next time. Since it’s stated is a 4-5 stars hotel then should provide the worthy and value for customer spend the money.

The check in wasnt that smooth. We need to wait til almost 5pm to get the QR code. The unit is quite spacious. Since we up at 12th floor and last unit, the open window at the service yard, the sound of howling winds give me a bit creep. Felt like someone banging on the door. But i really enjoy the view from the balcony.

Family rooms are the same like 10 years ago,it is run down.Need ramps access,no porter service. Breakfast buffet is okay,wish they kept their dine in service.Missed their superb cendol. Upon check in ,saw two kids in swimming gear sadly turn away when they found out the swimming pool is under repair. Heard its okay later that week

Checking in was a little complicated. We asked the security for assistance but they were unable to help us. We contacted the host upon reaching and was given the instruction to access the apartment. There’s 7 of us and the beds were sufficient. Apartment was clean. There are some eateries nearby which makes the location convenient.
