Alan Alegria, beware of the scammer! Alan Alegria claims to be the owner of Mandala Group with his brothers (a photo from his WhatsApp) and is offering a studio in Bacalar for 4,500. He then asks for a 480 deposit to reserve it because someone (an engineer told me) also wants it. He then asks for a 420 deposit to pay 500 a month to add the fee to the contract. Then he says he's going to show it to them but never shows up. There's always an excuse (a car mishap) or he simply doesn't answer your messages or calls. Then he says he's going to send someone to refund you but no one shows up either. Don't believe him, he's a scammer!

El hotel está a una cuadra de la playa y a una cuadra de un cajero automático. Es muy tranquilo y el personal es muy amigable.Hicimos la reserva marcando directamente al hotel. Nos encanto que se permitiera el acceso a mascotas pagando un extra de 250 pesos por estancia. Afuera del hotel, hay mucho estacionamiento ya que colinda con un parque y ahí también se estacionan taxis por si quieres moverte a zonas cercanas. Tiene una alberca pequeña sin personas, nos toco que estaba muy turbia y apenas le iban a dar mantenimiento. Las habitaciones tienen un ropero y una mesita y están muy limpias y silenciosas, además de contar con abanico y aire acondicionado. Si quiero regresar, el lugar es mágico y este hotel esta a muy buen precio.

Supe de este hotel por Tripadvisor y por unos amigos que estuvieron aquí días antes. En las fotos que se ven en el sitio se ven muy bonitas ,pero. Al llegar a recepción,y ver la alberca verde de moho y desarreglada, nos quedamos pensando en cómo estarán las habitaciones ?? Luego son varios pisos, y no creo que tengan elevador. Preguntamos por el restaurante y nos dijo el de recepción que sólo para desayuno. Así que mejor nos fuimos a otro hotel.
