I had a very pleasant stay at Gateway Madurai. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, special thanks to Pandian for his service. The rooms are spacious though they show a bit of age. Unfortunately, the pool and fitness area were under renovation during our visit. That said, the hotel’s location is fantastic, offering stunning views over Madurai. The atmosphere feels authentic, and the food at the restaurant was truly delicious.

Taj Pasumalai is home away from home for us! we have been a regular visitor since 2021 & the level of service they provide is incomparable. The entire team treats you like a family and provides you with right guidance in visiting places in and around Madurai. The property being on a hillock provides beautiful views ( and many beautiful peacocks that are very friendly in this property) and a sense of exclusivity! While all staff members are very good- particularly, Mr Pandian & Mr Eswar go over & beyond to make sure the stay is enjoyable! Thanks team Taj!

Our comfortable stay at this nice hotel was completed by the excellent employers in housekeeping service (especially Miss Velammal), restaurant (especially Mr.Subas), reception (especially Mr. Pandian, booking department (especially Mrs. Lalitha and Mr. Ramesh) and service of taking care of the hotel area.

Wir waren wiederholt in diesem Hotel und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Besonders nett und kompetent wurden wir an der Rezeption von Pandian betreut. Jedoch waren alle Mitarbeiter*innen total zuvorkommend.

Excellent experience. Mr Pandian was very polite and helpful in all aspects. Hotel Atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. Nice place to stay with family. They (Mr pandian) can help us with Darshan of Meenakshi Temple also. Recommended to stay

This is a peaceful place with nice rooms, good food, and a beautiful natural setting. Great for a relaxing stay. The property is elegantly maintained, and rich in heritage charm. The service was exemplary, with special appreciation for Mr. Pandian, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail greatly enhanced the overall experience. Here the garden is well-maintained and full of greenery.Peacocks roaming around add a special charm, making the place feel calm and close to nature.Housekeeping at here is excellent. The rooms are kept clean, neat, and fresh , with staff being polite and helpful.They provide good quality toiletries. Essentials like soap, shampoo, and towels are clean, well-stocked, and neatly arranged too. The food is delicious and well-prepared. They offer a good variety of dishes, and the taste and quality are impressive. I highly recommend this property to discerning travelers seeking comfort, luxury, and personalized hospitality

The stay at Gateway Madurai was truly delightful. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Mr. Pandian at the front desk was especially helpful in guiding us for our temple visit—really appreciate his support. Hotel is surrounded by nature. Away peacock around us.

Overall great ambiance , nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Well maintained. Courteous staff. The peacocks were a pleasant addition to the property, which was a welcome sight. The food ( breakfast & lunch ) was of a high standard.
