Self check in and check out! New experience!! Overall good guest house.

This is in a larger city so that context matters; that said, I paid almost half the price and received a room twice the size with better amenities in Malaga. I was grateful that it was clean and that the shower had hot water. Besides that, don’t look for anything else. I thought having a room to myself would afford higher quality, but, it’s a hostel. 10x10 room with a bed & bathroom if you pay for it, nothing else.

The room was nothing like the photos on the internet. It was very small, and had a window overlooking an outdoor patio that didn't allow air to circulate. The rooms were stuffy.

The check-in was horrible, the reservation code didn't work, we called the hotel and the answering machine came on. An hour later they gave us the code and told us that we had to enter with that code, that we should have that code so we wouldn't have to wait. Terrible service. Another couple in the same situation had the phone hung up on them with poor response.

There is no front desk for self check-in. Fortunately, the self-service machine allows you to choose the language, otherwise you really have to sleep on the street (there is no signal at the self-service machine for check-in and it cannot be translated). The door code is 20304e (I read the reviews and gave it a try, and it turned out to be correct). It is difficult for guests who do not know Spanish and English well. The room is OK, just average. The check-in process is too painful. I am afraid that the next step will pop up some information that I don't know how to fill in.

It's OK, but the check-in is really troublesome. I had to ask someone to help me with the check-in. The entrance requires a password, 20304E. If you don't know it, you have to wait for someone else to enter before you can check in. My assistant speaks Spanish, which is very troublesome! The hotel still can't be contacted! It’s hard to put it into words!

The location is excellent, the price is good. It is a hostel with good rooms and clean bathrooms. The only drawback is that the photos do not correspond to the rooms.

To start with we waited 20 minutes in 40 degrees, there was no one to tell us how to get in, no one opened the door for us. After going up 2 ground floors, thanks to the very kind cleaning ladies, they told us that it was on the first floor. You arrive and there is no one, you have to look for how to check in yourself, it is not possible and we have to call by phone. And we have to call again because they do not tell us how to get back in. When we finally managed to get into the room we see that the air conditioning does not work, the shower door is broken, the password for the wifi in the room and throughout the hallway does not work and without wifi you have no connection because it is a hole, the window looked out onto a patio full of air conditioning motors. Among many other things. A disaster all around.

Entering the room and checking out is very troublesome and annoying. No one will care about you if you don't call. You may not be able to get through on the phone. Everything else and the price are okay.

The hotel is very central, but too strange, it is an endless hallway, plus the room is on several levels, and it says you can't smoke, while the sheets we had were full of cigarette burns. The receptionist was rude, who seemed like she didn't feel like working.

I booked the wrong hotel, I thought it was the Meyer Hotel which was my first time in Madrid. This hotel is terrible, expensive, small, and like a prison.
