Located in Lavapies not far from the main attractions in city center and at walking distance to Atocha train station, it has a rooftop with a bar - it closes at night though and another cafeteria-like social area with a good kitchen by the lobby. As a large hostel it tends to have groups of first-time travellers but it is still possible to socialize; they promote games, walking tours, pub crawlings etc Beds are perfect, capsule style with curtains and air conditioner on all day long.

friendly staff, nice rooms good location, dropped a point for heavy mould in one of the bathrooms, cleaning team always on top of other issues though. Practical remote working space. I did naively think the spa use would be included but it’s an extra fee. Would recommend a stay and would visit again.

I had a fantastic stay at 2060 New Town Hostel in New York! The hostel has a great atmosphere, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transport and major attractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and enjoyable stay in NYC!

Everything is nice . The bed is very comfortable and there is a shared kitchen you can use it for free. Just the warm water in the shower wasn't warm enough

I was surprised at the price of hostels in Madrid. This one was on the lower end of the spectrum but it was very well thought out. The staff was friendly and deals very well with customer service issues. They also offered info on the city upon arrival and recommendations. There is a well equipped and well organized kitchen with free tea all day and churros/ coffee in the morning. The terrace bar is nice with a friendly bartender. Rooms have lockers under the beds and each bed has a curtain, outlet and reading light. There are fun details all over the hostel, even embroidered in the comforters. It can get a little noisy, but you are in a hostel, so manage your expectations accordingly (and bring earplugs ;)) Supermarkets, the metro, bars, restaurants, sol, and the plaza mayor are all within walking distance. Note: there is a fee to use the hot tub.

My friend invited to a short trip and found this hostel for us. He was here some years ago and I was really happy with the choice. Bed was really comfortable and even in a room with 7 more people I could have a good night of sleep.

The front desk gave me the worst bed in the room (just because I have an Asian face?). This bed is backlit, not breathable, and very stuffy. The key is that it is right next to the door, so you can't sleep at night. The door slams loudly when you go in and out. There were many empty beds in the room when I checked in, but she insisted on giving me this bed... I have a headache afterward.

The location is very good, it's quite close to Molina subway station, and the hostel itself has many activities ~ it's pretty good ~ the hygiene is also clean, but there are several roommates, it's hard to control the noise from their activities ~ it's still quite disturbing, it's not easy to fall asleep at night ~ some beds are not well lit, and I don't know why they don't give priority to beds with light...
