The hotel shares the same beautiful garden and pool with the historic Winter Palace, so you get the same amazing atmosphere at a more affordable price. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to Luxor Temple and the Nile. Highly recommend for both comfort and value!

It is indeed the best garden in Egypt. And the breakfast is decent.

Very great hospitality, room service serves great food with reasonable price

Pavillon Winter Luxor is a beautiful hotel that serves as an extension to Sofitel's Winter Palace. The garden here is really beautiful and peaceful, giving guests some tranquility from the hustle of bustle of the streets of Luxor. Breakfast here is delicious and the pool was also well kept. I want to clearly note that all amenities are shared with the Winter Palace hotel, the only difference in your experience is the room you stay at (the historic palace at Sofitel or the pavilion rooms which are not a part of the original palace).

Overall, it was a good stay. Reception was quick to address initial issues around cleanliness of my room, and they made up for it by upgrading me. Room service was great, restaurants and breakfast also very good. Location is ideal, you can take a walk on the Nile at sunset and the garden is absolutely stunning. I do think parts of the hotel need upgrading, the carpets were looking a bit rough in parts of my room, the hairdryers were seriously old, headboard had marks and scuffs on it etc., I definitely expected a bit more for a 5 star hotel.
