"Stayed for a week. It is close to East park mall, so there are many good restaurants around. It is a great hotel with a unique container structure. There is a little bit of vibration between floors due to the structural characteristics, but it is not enough to be bothersome."

"The hotel has a nice environment with many big trees next to it, but there is a construction site nearby, which makes it a bit noisy during the day. There is free parking, the breakfast is quite rich, and the room facilities are a bit old."

However I feel the hotel should invest more in their recreational facilities for example the hotel does not have a spa.The room itself was nice and the bathroom clean though not spacious as I expected. The dining area is very clean as well and I loved it."

"I cannot recommend this property, and I want other travellers to know exactly why. During our stay, items were stolen from our room. When we reported it, we discovered the security cameras on the premises were not even working — so there was no way to investigate what had happened. That alone is a serious failure for any establishment that holds itself out as a safe place to stay. What made it far worse was the response from staff. Instead of support or basic empathy, the senior managers were dismissive and unhelpful, and at one point actually accused us of faking the theft. Being treated as a suspect after being the victim was humiliating and deeply upsetting. To top it off, the balcony door did not lock properly, leaving the room exposed and the guests vulnerable to exactly the kind of intrusion that occurred. This is a basic safety standard that should never be compromised. A hotel's job is to keep guests and their belongings safe and to respond with care when something goes wrong. This property failed on every count. I would urge anyone considering booking here to think twice."

Latitude 15 Degrees Hotels in Lusaka

Latitude 15 Degrees

"Our group recently traveled to Lusaka and had the pleasure of staying at Latitude 15 for five days and four nights. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was not just any hotel—it’s a place full of character, charm, and thoughtful design. The artwork throughout the property is stunning, and the rooms, pools, and outdoor spaces create a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional staff. A special thank you to Happy, Mary, and Isaiel, who took such great care of our group during meals. They consistently went above and beyond—always greeting us with warm smiles, ensuring everything was perfectly set up before we arrived, and handling any requests or challenges with ease and professionalism. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on all of us. If you’re traveling to Lusaka and looking for a hotel that offers both unique style and truly outstanding service, I cannot recommend Latitude 15 highly enough."

"I was kinda hesitant about the hotel with other major names available in the country but found this to be just right. The rooms were semi spacious and I am highly surprised as a Titanium Member I did not receive an upgrade. I was highly pissed that I was not told about the gym being available across the street. These were two things for me that were completely missed and highly disappointed that were missed. For three weeks I was never advised on any of these or offered an upgrade, another person walks in with a lower status than me and received all the information and an upgrade. As stated, the room and bed were perfect with no issues. The room was cool enough just as I like it and the bathroom was very spacious and the shower. On a budget or not I would still recommend this hotel as the malls are very close in walking distance and contribute to the amenities. The restaurant and staff were extremely helpful and amazing to see everyday. They made the stay very welcoming and loving, the restaurant staff and two chefs making the omelets really made my stay and are the MVPs."

Best Western Plus Paramount Hotel ★★★★
"Negative Review | Best Hotel: Unauthorized Entry, Misuse of Guest Affiliates, Chaotic Management, and Terrible Attitude My two-day stay at the Best Hotel completely shattered my understanding of hotel service standards, leaving me with unprecedented feelings of unease and psychological distress. During my stay, out of concern for the safety of my personal belongings, I explicitly requested that the hotel refuse routine room cleaning. Only on the afternoon of the second day did the cleaning staff, in my full presence, handle the dinner dishes and change the bathroom supplies. Afterward, they were immediately asked to leave, and I reiterated that no further cleaning was necessary. This was a sufficiently cautious arrangement, yet an infuriating situation still occurred. After the cleaning staff left on the first night, around 1 or 2 AM, when I went to use my personal comb, I was horrified to find hair stuck to it—hair that was completely different from my own—my hair is straight, typical of Asians, while the hair on the comb was noticeably curly. This detail is sufficient proof that the cleaning staff had again entered my room without permission after I left and used my personal belongings without authorization. The misuse of a comb raises a chilling security concern: if personal belongings could be touched so freely, what about other items in the room, luggage, and clothing? This incident instantly filled me with extreme disgust and unease. That evening, I immediately went to the front desk to report the problem. The staff promised a response by 8:00 AM the following morning. However, after I explained the entire incident to the front desk the next day, they changed their tune and said they would provide feedback on Wednesday. On the appointed Wednesday, I was no longer staying at the hotel, so I arranged for a driver to retrieve the comb and follow up on the outcome. However, the front desk only returned the comb, offering no substantive response to the incident itself. When I called the front desk to inquire further, the response was that "this matter is handled by HR," offering no explanation for the management loopholes regarding the employee's unauthorized entry and misuse of guest belongings, nor any subsequent corrective measures. Even more disheartening was that the hotel staff not only showed no remorse but also rudely accused me of "making up a story." I immediately requested to review the security footage for verification, but they consistently avoided this reasonable request. Upon check-out, the hotel waived my $20 dinner bill, which I immediately offered to pay—my initial intention in raising the issue was to get the hotel to address management loopholes and resolve safety concerns, not to be greedy for this small sum. However, the hotel's handling of the situation—from delaying and shirking responsibility to malicious speculation, and finally to a completely unintentional perfunctory response—completely exposed its chaotic management and disregard for guest rights. What I find even more unacceptable is that I could clearly sense the nervousness of the cleaning staff involved during the incident, yet the hotel still chose to cover it up and evade the issue. This seemingly minor incident of misuse of personal belongings reflects a comprehensive deficiency in the hotel's room security management and employee professionalism training. If even personal items cannot be guaranteed safe, who would dare to stay at a hotel with peace of mind? This experience has made me utterly disappointed with the Best Hotel, and I will never stay there again. I also advise all travelers who value personal privacy and the safety of their belongings to avoid this hotel with no bottom line! (The feedback was just that they returned the comb to me. Hahahaha! I'll just throw the comb away later.)"
