The town is the Laos bigger city close to China, get a lot of Chinese backpackers, and season experience Western travellers, does gave a more sophisticated vibes when chatting with them, Hostel only have compartment beds, clean daily and relative clean. Picture 1 is the evening hot air balloon visible from the street, second is the Hostel entrance, a common area where everyone gather and chat

I can say this place is good to stay if you are on budget. They give a good breakfast, location is walking distance to night market, Mekong riverside, restaurant, convenient store, they provide towel, shampoo and body soap, they serve good coffee and lobby where you can rest from long walk. great location, right opposite is a store where you can pay with a bank card. there are few of them here. the hotel has air conditioning and hot water. great big beds compared to other hostels. close to the night market great!

Quiet place and on the edge of nightlife and nightmarket. Everything very basic but great for the price. The real gem of this place is the girl who works there. She does everything, she is always smiling, she solves every problem and she also knows how to cook divinely. She definitely makes everything special.

The manager, Miss Tiantian, is a practitioner who has been deeply involved in the homestay business, and her right-hand man, Xiao Chen, is enthusiastic and helpful. This youth hostel has a great atmosphere, great value for money, and a great location. There is a big supermarket across the street, and it's just a few minutes away from the tourist night market. A Chinese girl traveled to Laos with her own backpack. She read on Xiaohongshu that the youth hostel run by a Chinese owner was very exciting. After checking in at noon and putting her bag down, she found that the environment was different from what was advertised, and the sanitary conditions were average. When I came back at night, the room door was locked. When I opened the door, a boy without pants asked me which room I was in. I knew before that it was a mixed dormitory, but I didn't know that the entire youth hostel was full of boys. Moreover, there was a group of men, including middle-aged men, drinking and dining in front of the store at night. Considering safety and sleep quality issues, I discussed with the landlady whether we could check out because I saw a youth hostel next door that was separate for men and women. The landlady asked me to move to a twelve-person room because there were fewer people. I turned back again and opened the door. There was a middle-aged man picking his feet on the bed and talking on the phone. I felt physically uncomfortable, so I made my initial request to the landlady again and negotiated a check-out because I had not touched the bed even when I left at noon. There are traces of people sitting on them. Even basic safety and hygiene issues cannot be guaranteed. I think the boss lady, who is also a Chinese woman, will understand, and she did not explicitly refuse when I made the request. Instead, she asked me to submit it for review, and sneered at the person next to me when I left. Youth hostels also have mixed accommodation. The fact is that when I arrived next door, I found that there were boys on the first floor and girls on the second floor, and the environmental sanitation boss was enthusiastic. Two hours after I submitted it for review, Truman Youth Hostel rejected my application. I just want to say that I have caught up with Chinese people cheating on Chinese people when I go out. I consider myself unlucky and don’t lack the fifty yuan. 🆘 I hope every Chinese girl will see this youth hostel and avoid it 🆘 , if ****, not solving actual problems and not considering female customers is your business attitude, then I hope the boss lady and your male passengers will continue to chat freely and have a lot of fun🌹

There is a supermarket right in front of the hostel, and you can walk to the main tourist sites in no time. You can also go to the night market in less than 10 minutes, and even though I am a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel uneasy on the way there. There seem to be a lot of Chinese-speaking guests (many of the signs in the hostel are in Chinese). Once, all the power went out, perhaps because of a tripped breaker or thunder, but the staff fixed it right away.
